Even if it's about Enzo, most of the time Argentinian MF 3 was: Enzo, AMA and De Paul.

Timo "ran like a dog" and Mount was relentless applying pressure. It was nice to see. Kai was the one a bit more on a free role, but still wasn't the lazy player he's been in the last couple of seasons. We had Kante too! Rudiger had tons of energy esp making runs. Tactical knowledge is quality too... do these player have it already? Honestly, I even expect some of these players to drop form at some point during the season... it's normal. We will see very soon, but I sincerely do not see enough quality in the squad to warrant such optimism. Won't be complaining one bit for being wrong here, but that's what I see. You can't be loaded with will and determination then put up pathetic performances the seasons after winning a UCL title. That would mean the players rose to the occasion but they weren't actually that good (or they just don't care and were just here to pick up their nice wage packets) and that was proven by the disaster we've been through with Potter/Lampard in charge. I don't mind seeing some of these younger players keen to take on the challenge, feels like it's been a while since we've seen that sort of energy and positive play on the pitch. Most of the deadwood is gone, so its like a fresh start for Poch, he just needs to find a partner for Enzo ASAP.
Jype 6,398
Paredes would only make sense as a backup option to Enzo, not as an alternative to Caicedo. They're literally nothing alike as player types. robsblubot

If we get no one we have that obligation. Not to fight but to be there. I see everywhere, opposite fans, media, bookmakers everyone is predicting us 4th or 5th place. This is bare minimum in any scenario. I'm not going to praise Poch for finishing 5th and getting CL place. For that he needs to do much more. Cup win and top3 with great football. Pizy 18,985
Paredes is dogshit. There’s a reason PSG haven’t been bothered about him going for a while now. I’d rather have Tyler Adams than Paredes. As for Disasi, I think it’s a brilliant move. Glad to see the club moved extremely quickly and totally silently there. Not only did we sign him within a of couple days of being linked, but we did so before even selling Chalobah. Now there’s no need to rush and panic near the deadline when every club in Europe knows we’re desperate. No panic buying some clown that isn't remotely close to Chelsea quality like Djilobodji or Miazga. I think Disasi is tailor made for the PL. A monster physically, fantastic with the ball at his feet for a big man, and is always fit. As with Reece James and Malo Gusto, we should rotate and rest Thiago Silva often with Disasi to keep them in tip top shape.
Thor 2,745
Disasi looks like a monster. Absolute monster. From all reports I've seen - people have said he was the better of him and Badi. From the highlights, he looks a real gem. dimmas

The question with Disasi is if he will handle the pace and tempo of PL or if he will look like his running around with a parachute attached to him

If he’s isolated in an acre of space against a mega quick winger may he get in trouble? Sure, probably. But so would the vast majority of CB’s. He looks like a great athlete to me. There’s no chance whatsoever that Disasi isn’t quicker than Thiago Silva and he has dominated in the PL at age 37/38 with no problem. Fifa has a terrible record on evaluating pace anyway (remember when Goretzka got 80 pace and Rüdiger 76 or when Maicon was supposed to be faster tha Gareth Bale)
NikkiCFC 8,369
Pep saying he doesn't want players who don't want to be there. This is about Bernardo who wants Barcelona and will probably be Dembele replacement. With Mahrez already out and Walker rumored to Bayern and Cancelo close to move as well they gonna basically lose all players on that right side. So I think Olise will end up there. Mhsc 1,109
I think his acceleration from a dead stop doesn’t look great but his pace is faster than many we’ve had play CB. Excited for him but assuming Thiago holds down the top spot for now tbh.
