James Trafford has to feel like an absolute idiot right about now for agreeing to go back to City. The guy is desperate to become the England #1 and could now see City immediately buy a superior keeper who’s only 26. What kind of idiotic move is this from City?

If you could design a Pep style keeper in a lab Donnarumma would basically be the exact opposite of that. Really strange.

Donnarumma is like a Joe Hart on steroids.

Regarding Guehi, I really don’t get the desire to go to Liverpool. Van Dijk isn’t that old and plays at LCB where Guehi plays. They have Konate on the other side who Liverpool fans all call top class as well. Why go there and sit on the bench in a season where he’d ideally want to lock down a starting position for England at the World Cup?

He could come here and walk straight into our XI. But I guess we really aren’t even trying for him.

Long-term, Liverpool makes more sense. They have just VVD and Konate as senior CB options after selling Quansah. Konate is running down his contract too. He'll get plenty of mins even if he's rotated.

At Chelsea, he competes with so many CBs and has Fofana and Colwill coming back into the squad at some point too.

Wolves have made a formal approach to sign Chelsea duo Axel Disasi & David Datro Fofana.

Combined deal could reach £45m (£25–30m for Disasi, ~£15m for Fofana).
Wolves want a new CB & striker after selling big this summer.

Chelsea open to selling both.

Curious what is in Garnacho's head.. World Cup if after next season, he is far from established in the national team so he has to drop some shit on the floor to be considered. Is he very confident he will get all the minutes here to succeed? Last season he displayed the ugly(unprofessional) side of him when Amorim sidelined him, I wonder what will happen if the same occurs here, with the world cup coming shortly.

The numbers don't line up. There was talk of Fofana going to a team in France for £5m (a joke valuation either way). That fee is three times that.

Reason I dislike almost every transfer account on X.

Fees are rubbish I agree. Even Romano inflates fees.

Well, give the fact that we already have a lot of center backs and if we buy one we can struggle achepomg development I cant blame the board to think in this way

Our big problem with Nkunku & Jackson and why the Xavi deal is dragging on and on is that neither of them are the first choices of any of these clubs who are interested. Which kind of fucks us over and means that we may not be able to sign Xavi until deadline day well after the season starts.

Yes, the likes of Newcastle, Bayern, etc may fancy Nkunku or Jackson but only if they can’t land other players. These are fallback options.

The confusing part is that we’re apparently pushing through and advancing on Garnacho despite Jackson & Nkunku still being here but can’t finalize Xavi until they’re gone?

The report was that the French club were looking to offer that amount (tho in euros) not that we were going to accept it.

Argentina like Uruguay..they don't care how their players behave.

Similar fee to what we got for Broja.i'd be happier with DDF out of those two deals.

I'm pretty sure Argentinian also care about playing time. I couldn't care less about his reputation in Argentina, I just wonder how he will react if he doesn't end up starting each game.

Meanwhile, Donnarumma announced his departure on IG..
