I resigned myself to the fact he is coming and I will back him fully until and if he proves he is not good enough.

I hope he DOES become a monster (monster in a good way, lolol)

I'm okay as long as he doesn't influence the rest of the squad in a negative way. What we have building right now with Palmer, Pedro, Caicedo & co. is special.

The sooner Garnacho realizes that his shenanigans won't work here, the better.

If UEFA FFP rules are going to be a stumbling block, I hope the club at least takes a good look at the loan market or free agent list to add a quality CB to the ranks. Problem is that we really need a starting quality CB. Tosin and Chalobah can do a job, but I wouldn't yet back them week and week out against tougher opposition.

The only one that comes close to that when fit (besides Colwill, if he keeps his form up), is Fofana and even he's a big question mark.

Curious case of Garnacho !!!
The club is taking a risk going after someone like Garnacho but I feel the risk is justified.

The way we're doing business, he fits the bill.

  • Get in a player u23. ✔️
  • Talented and Hyped as the next best thing.  ✔️
  • Lower wages. Mostly  ✔️
  • Bonus: Premier League proven. 👌

Garnacho surely has talent minus his antics, if we is able to perform on the same level at United... he can be sold for a decent amount which would be pure profit. He might not work for our current system but hey not all players we take are picked on that marker. I feel it is a win win for the club.

This Garnacho stuff is crazy to me.. it really is quite bonkers. Good player but why not focus on a CB. We could literally be on the verge of competing on all fronts with a top class CB and GK. How strange do you want to be?

It's exactly the same as the keeper situation, why we aren't in for Donnarumma is mental, same as Garnacho situation.

Sounds like Garnacho will be done in the hours/day

If the Maignan deal fell apart over 4 million, what makes you think Donnarumma was going to happen?

Hate to say it but Sanchez's cwc performances seem to have earnt him another season as #1

Thats why the Guehi deal would have made sense, Palace are pretty much confirmed to lose him before the window closes and he's a former youth product.

Just watch Liverpool wrap it up for 35 million in the next week or so.

Two completely separate entities and also quality of keeper. In a world where we have Gittens, potentially Garnacho, George, Neto etc that can all play there and still looking to add Simons we can't talk about sense when trying to add up between a bid for Maignan and going for possibly the best keeper in the world.

The Maignan deal didn't fail because of 4 million. It's because Milan was disrespectful. They got Pulisic, who is young and has greater potential, for 20 millions from Chelsea, but wanted more for a 30-year-old Gk who had one year left on his contract.

Why aren't we interested in Konate? Who had one year left on his contract.

He plays on the right side I’m pretty sure not the left, doesn’t he? Plus, there’s got to be a reason he still hasn’t signed a new deal there. His wage demands must be significant and the speculation is that he’s trying to pull a Trent and leave for Madrid on a free which comes with a huge signing bonus

Unfortunately, whatever we say, Sanchez will be starting on opening day of the season

Just hope our attack can get a few goals 😆

Kind of odd how we aren’t hearing any concrete links with Jackson other than him “being considered” by Newcastle. After he has been left out and told he can go you’d expect to start hearing which specific clubs are interested. And Fabrizio has said that numerous clubs do like him.

Wonder if the Isak situation is just holding everything up for like 5 different clubs.
