Out of the 3 teams you posted there it’s a nightmare to deal with two of them. I just wish the board was sensible enough to look at players like this in the same price range as Caicedo.

All of the above are much better footballers than him.

That’s gotta classify as tapping up

Fuck Brighton. De Zerbi is a piss poor hipster manager and will be exposed next season. Caicedo is barely worth half of what they want , if they won’t be reasonable after scamming us for potter and cucarella (and getting gilmour for peanuts) then walk away and never deal with them again

Before offering more money for Caicedo (I personally think what we offered was fair tbh) we wait and see how this Mbappe, Real and PSG situation goes for the next few days, if Real want to buy him then they need to sell some of their players, so that can become an option for us.

Just wait it out with Caicedo, I don't really see any other team offering more than us. And Brighton have promised him that he can go for a fair price. We are not that desperate, there must be other players that are good enough, available for a fair price ala Ugarte, it's not like it's a dire market ala the striker market.

We should go for Mbappe.

They are really starting to act too big for their boots. We are not selling Colwill, now go fuck yourselves. Keep Caicedo, we can look elsewhere. Piss taking cunts.

Brighton have accepted they aren't getting Colwill. They signed a Brazilian 20m left footed CB from Fiorentina

It's hard for me to believe that technical director "didn't have clear role", as it's a very clear role. Rather it was hard to manage certain fields as club have put other people in place to manage it anyway and the structure doesn't seem very vertical - it's more of a collective it seems.

Reminds me a bit of what was reported as an owner's first clash with Tuchel, "different views" etc. Maybe modern German football philosophy is completely incompatible with what is happening in this club, and it would be rather sad, as RB's or Bayern aren't bad run teams anyway.

Colwill ain't going to Brighton they have just bought Igor, it's done-

As for Caicedo, it should simply be make the last take it or leave it offer and if they refuse wave goodbye, that will then force the player and his team to act.

I want Cherkhi here as well

well lets see because if we sell gallager and stay santos, we still need 2 cm's

Gallagher is not a CM, there is no relation between Santos and Gallagher and either staying or going has no impact on the other

So what is gallagher ? He certainly isn’t a 10 or defensive midfielder. He would probably be in competition for places with Santos although could play with him too

He is a workhorse attacking midfielder with a goal in him. Just nowhere near as technical as a Felix.

now hear me out… we put up whatever it costs for Mbappe, let’s assume 100m at least. We get him for 1-2 years on insane wages, but maybe it’s enough to get us a league title. We agree with him and Real up front that we will allow sale in future, even putting in release clause specific for them perhaps, and in that deal later they use Tchou or Vini Jr to cut the price to something actually affordable for them. We all end up happy.

Am I fuckin crazy?
