Jorginho wouldn't be a matter if only things had worked out as planned. Not like people here rated him very much to put it lightly until he was gone and we were, in theory, improving quality, so better to let him go when there was someone interested, instead of making him sit in the parking lot as we can't fit players in the dressing room. Too bad it turns out not only we miss his imperfect input, but he was one of very, very few people exhibiting a bit of leadership and charisma here. There were multiple reports his departure didn't go down very well with the rest of players.

Can't shake the feeling that club got carried away the same way with Giroud.

Think it’s safe to assume that Osimhen is off the table because of his price and so is Kane because of Levy. Lautaro is at a CL club who still have a chance to win it (not gonna happen, tho) and the Inter hierarchy are already saying that they’re planning with him for the long term. Also saw a quote from them that he could be future captain. So he ain’t going anywhere unless a truly monster offer goes in.

That doesn’t leave any truly ready made, top class strikers left. Just decent ones like Ivan Toney or up and coming talents. And those are the sorts of risks we really can’t afford after years and years of going that route.

I have this sinking feeling that we’re going to look around everywhere and be unable to find the right striker only to end up having to use Lukaku again. 🤦‍♂️

Up and coming striker would be fine. Established world class ones would be too much money and unwilling to join after our season

Chelsea: Dujon Sterling Medical imminent for Chelsea exit

His contract is set to expire next month.

https://www.footballfancast.com/Chelsea-transfer-latest-medical-imminent-for-dujon-sterling-exit-rangers/

Chelsea star Dujon Sterling is set to join Rangers after agreeing a four-year deal with the Scottish outfit.

The 23-year-old is out of contract next month and is set to leave Stamford Bridge after first joining the club as a seven-year-old in 2007.

Much like many of Chelsea's most promising youngsters, he has been forced out on loan for four of the last five seasons with his most recent spell with Stoke City.

According to Football Insider, Sterling has already agreed to join Rangers and once he completes a medical with the Scottish outfit, he will put pen to paper on his new deal.

The medical will be completed imminently and having already been given a tour of Rangers' training ground, only the most important details remain.

In his career to date, Sterling has been able to provide 13 goals and 16 assists in 193 appearances across a number of different positions.

pipe dreams, not happening:

Kylian Mbappé
Victor Osimhen
Lautaro Martínez
Julián Álvarez

then every under 30yo and over £10m CF who is remotely available that I remotely rate

and some of these would take crazy offers

bold are who I would go for first

Harry Kane (crazy hard pull) only if a fair price
Dusan Vlahovic
Randal Kolo Muani (likely too expensive though)
Jonathan David
Ivan Toney (as long as no suspension)
Gonçalo Ramos
Rasmus Højlund
Amine Gouiri
Ollie Watkins
Marcus Thuram
Aleksandar Mitrović
Hugo Ekitiké
Elye Wahi
Evanilson
Noah Okafor
Benjamin Sesko
Terem Moffi
Loïs Openda
Nicolas Jackson
Marcos Leonardo
Adam Hlozek

youth

Vitor Roque Brasil youth 18yo
Alejo Véliz Argie youth 19yo

Estevão Willian 16yo Palmeiras youth
