Pizy 19,280
The talk with Bellingham with Liverpool out of the way is that Real Madrid are favorites. But they have Valverde, Tchoameni, and Camavinga as their young, future midfield already. All are under 25 and have been projected as future world class players. So how does spending £120m or more on another young midfielder make sense? I guess if both Kroos and Modrić go there’s room, but there’s no indication of that happening. They already have to shuffle Camavinga and Valverde around to strange positions because their midfield is loaded.

I wouldn't want us splashing 120m on Bellingham either, especially since he seems to be a colossal cnut. I'd rather go for Lavia, as I think we can grab him for 40-50m this summer, especially if Saints get relagated. 13 hours ago, Costa19 said: This is some comments from Reddir regarding Gallardo. - ”As a Boca fan, we had better players so we were more consistent along the year, but River had Gallardoand that gave them a huge advantage in the Libertadores/Sudamericana and even the Argentina Cup. Plus River constantly sold the players he helped to develop. And 1 Libertadores is worth like 10 league titles for us” - ”Exactly. One of Gallardo's merits is reinventing his team each year after losing players, and keep them performing at the highest level.” Sounds like a great option for Monaco, Dortmund or Benfica. Not Chelsea. Whoever we appoint should be able to develop younsters AND manage players who are already proven to be world class. Vesper 31,105
https://football-observatory.com/IMG/sites/b5wp/2022/wp417/en/ Issue number 417 of the CIES Football Observatory Weekly Post presents the percentage of minutes played by footballers who had not yet turned 20 in domestic league matches played over the last five years by 1,168 clubs in 76 leagues worldwide. Denmark’s Nordsjælland crushes the competition with a record percentage of 37%. Slovakia’s MŠK Žilina and Septemvri Sofia of Bulgaria complete the podium, followed by two Venezuelan clubs (Mineros de Guayana and Deportivo La Guaira), as well as RSC Anderlecht. Uruguay’s Defensor SC are the third highest ranked non-European team, ahead of another Venezuelan team, Monagas SC, and Ecuador’s Independiente del Valle. Borussia Dortmund leads the way among the teams currently in the big-5, ahead of Stade Rennais and FC Barcelona. In terms of the number of U20 players lined up in domestic league matches since 1 April 2018, the Romanian side FCV Farul tops the table with 45 footballers, while Paris St-Germain (28) heads the rankings in the five major European championships ahead of Bologna (22). Commercially I’m not concerned, Americans do know how to market and generate income in every feasible way in that sphere, not to generalise but over my career, just my opinion. regarding Felix, what a special talent, yes, talent, still, a talent, unfinished, still. Therefore anything above £60m I’d be unhappy with, if we had either of the coaches we’ve seen I’d be happy putting stock in those candidates to bring something out of the player, and others. Take Grealish as an example, Villa he was the big fish, special talent, now he’s being guided by Pep, started horrifically to be honest, as expected. After some patience he’s blooming now and City reap the rewards. Pep commands just so much respect, as a player, as a manager, has he had iffy appointments? Sure, but as a player I’d be listening to every word and we’ve lacked that sadly, because it’s not only listening, it’s having a deep respect for who you’re listening to. DDA 10,237
Whatever happens, do not sign Joao Felix... I'm starting to think he's all hype and we have Nkunku coming in... a similar player who can actually score goals. HEREIAM 83
There’s only room for one of Mount, Havertz or Felix, I would get rid of all three. if Kante is staying then Kova has to go, both RLC and Gallagher needs to go, Chuka needs to stay, Cucu and Azpi need to leave, wide players Mudryk hasn’t been given a fair chance so he stays, CHO get rid off Up top I think Lukaku will stay and get rid of Auba Sasch

We were on the rise brand-wise "recently" and although our recent performance isn't necessarily the helping hand in negotiations (however exposure deffo is there, just not very positive), I wouldn't really be concerned about our marketing potential. And the Three, oh well, they were pretty much first to attempt to fuck us over when UK government decided to boost their theatre around Abramovitch, so I guess we can do more reliable.
