Ok he still wasn’t good after that but those first 2 years he had, he was pish. Like everything he did - didn’t work bar the odd 10-15 minutes of looking like a reasonable level professional in a match every 4 months. Torres in 12/13 season 22g 11a. Only Drogba, Lampard, Anelka, Mata and Hazard had seasons with more goals contribution in Roman era. I don't recall Chelsea being much after people of his mentality, that screams discipline and work ethic problems + he's constantly injured. Imo it's very non-Chelesa kind of signing idea. Guess the agents are doing good job here, lol the nutter is demanding almost £700K PW!!!

I know we've had our disagreement's where he's concerned but one thing is for certain, he's not displacing Edou anytime soon. True but it is really good to have best number 2. Kepa price is irrelevant in 2022 which is major issue about him. And Kepa repaid a lot of money. Super Cup win is only on him and we got 5m just for that game. Played major part in winning EL with Sarri and this season in reaching EFL cup final. Also we never missed out top4 since Kepa is here. Put best GK in the world instead of him since he is here result would be the same. Top4 but no title. Kepa worst season was 19/20 we finished 4th with 66 points. 33 points behind Liverpool and 15 points behind City. So put Oblak or Mendy we would still be 3rd at best. So my point is that Kepa damage to the club is close to zero. There are more positives in fact. Tomo and mkh 1

Probably followed then by Drinkwater and Bakayoko. Lukaku isn’t even in the conversation yet. That opinion must be solely based on his price tag, as he's been nowhere near some mentioned where it matters.

At this point I’m calling bullshit. This sounds like Barca leaked things to make him look like a greedy cunt because they want him to sign for cheaper. Only Drogba, Lampard, Anelka, Mata and Hazard had seasons with more goals contribution in Roman era. He may of done that but that seasons not that good when you break it down and look at where the goals came from. He only scored 8 league goals that season and the other 14 goals were in cup competitions (CL & Europa League 9, Community Shield 1, FA Cup 1, Club World Cup 1, League Cup 2). Even in the near 4700 minutes he played that season at club level, 22 goals equals a goal every 215 minutes roughly so a goal just a bit less than every 2 and a half games. He wasn’t bought to assist goals either so not even concerned about those, thats what Hazard, Oscar, Mata were all signed for, to build around the donkey that someone thought was a racehorse. Its not that impressive when you consider Costa scored 20 PL goals alone in his 1st season, 12 the 2nd season (and he was pretty shite alongside everyone else for the first half of the season), and 20 again in the 3rd. Even Morata scored more PL goals in 1 season for us than Torres ever manager, getting 11 the first year. Torres never ever scored double figure PL goals since 2009-10 season. He is still easily in the top 2/3 worst signings in the clubs history. Without a doubt. We honestly tried to build teams around the guy when he was finished. Even Carragher, his ex team mate said it, he couldn’t believe we paid 50m for him. Edited January 18, 2022 by OneMoSalah

Tuchel still speaks glowingly over Dembele that he's one of the most technically gifted and amongst his favourite players he's ever worked with so I wouldn't actually rule out Tuchel discussing him with the board if he's a free agent in the summer. King Kante 1,643
Sorry Lukaku is worse than Torres. At least Torres had the excuse of being broken from injuries to his hamstrings and anyhow continued to run around and work off the ball. Lukaku is simply sh*t technically and has no desire to do anywork off the ball other than point. As for Kepa, @NikkiCFCyou can't be serious that you wouldn't take £50m. I know he is one of your favourites, but yet again against City we saw the reasons why he got dropped. I mean KDB's shot wasn't even in the corner and he had a good sight of it but still let it in (I mean, hasn't he still failed to save a shot going towards the top right hand corner from open play, which is why Tielemans was shooting on sight in the FA Cup final?) Additionally, he was rooted to his line for the corners and wasn't commanding his area. Yeah, he has improved his confidence a little and is making a couple of decent saves again that look great. However, he still has a lot of the deficiencies that got him dropped, it is just that aren't being exposed as much atm. Vesper

You can ask any Real Madrid fans, Inda doesn't has any clue at all. Within El Chringuito only Pedrerol has sort of credibility regarding any Real Madrid news since he always got his info directly from Perez. His move to Madrid is proof that the grass isn’t always greener and ultimately, he is finished IMO. Honestly think for the fee he cost and wages he’s on, he will struggle to get a top club move. I mean Coutinho is a reference for this sort of thing also although he somehow got a move to Bayern for 6 months and eventually only got out of Barca to go to Villa with a chance of a permanent move.
