I hope you remember that we still have Barkley in the books and have been struggling him to get rid of him.

The problem has been constant change managers.

Had we stuck with Conte for a while we long gotten rid of those duds.

If we stick with Tuchel we can get rid of them and get players that fit the profile.

I still think we did great with Lampard and improve on Tuchel. Tuchel has a slowdown but it's nothing that can be fixed with another season.

We paid big for Pulisic, who wasn't even close to a guarantee to begin with and we're surprised by the current situation?

Moreover, even if Dembele is on the cheap side, I find it weird people want an injury prone player when the same people always complain about Pulisic being injury prone (even though he hasn't had a notable injury "caused" by himself in a long time).

If you're paying £54m for a player, I'd expect them to hit more than 11 goals in a season.

Players can get past injury issues when their young, well managed & have the right fitness routine in place. Also, keep in mind that he did play 34 games for Barcelona last season, not 5.

Pulisic played 43 games last season and people still call him injury prone.

It's a narrative people seem to run with based on his past. Not sure why.

Because he has an injury record worse than Robben, who was labeled injury prone...

Robben - 3 seasons. 19 Games missed, 110 days injured.

Pulisic - 2.5 seasons. 45 games missed, 335 days injured.

I'm not disputing that, but that's in the past, as I stated. He's been available for most games in the last season & a half.

Right but until this bloke can go a full season without 3 or 4 injuries that are a direct result of muscular imbalances vs direct contact, he'll always have that label.

We haven’t even actually been linked with Dembele by a reliable outlet anyways so all this talk is pointless. He’ll go to whoever present Barca with the highest offer and I can’t see that being us. He’s more likely to go to someone like Newcastle or a club like that who want to make a splash. They need to show prospective targets that they can attract big names. West Ham would be another.

We should wait until the summer and target Raphinha from Leeds if we want a new wide attacker.

Sevilla will allow Carlos to leave'

Sky Sports' Kaveh Solhekol on the Transfer Show:

"The latest we are getting on Diego Carlos is that Sevilla want to keep him for their game this weekend [against Celta Vigo] but after that game, the expectation is that Sevilla will do a deal and then it's up to the player where he wants to go.

"They have had an offer from Newcastle and they have been in the driving seat for the past couple of days, but there is also another Premier League club from London who have made an offer of around £30m for him.

"It's then up to Carlos where he wants to go. If you try to work out who this club in London is, my information is that it's not West Ham.

"David Ornstein at The Athletic says it's not Arsenal, so that really leaves Chelsea and Tottenham.  I'm not in a position to say which club it is, but I know that Spurs have a long interest in the player."
