The problem is Tottenham can receive a great value for Kane, but there's no time to buy a player that can replace him.

So... they can get a lot of money, but get top4 next season will become much more harder without him and if they can't get at least 4th place, they will lost a lot of money...

Tbf the last two seasons with Kane they didn’t get top four

yes, but the point was almost all of those could be still had

the only CF's on the planet who are (at this exact instant) as good as or better than Kane are

Lewa

Mbappe (if you count him as a CF)

Håland

Benzema

CR7 (if you count him as a CF)

and maybe Lukaku

big, huge drop off after those 6, the next best is Lautaro, then another huge drop off

(and 3 of them will soon age off the list, Lewa, Benz, and CR7, 2 years, 3 MAX left for each)

Tbh, if he has another top class season like the last one (and judging by the first game the other day he will) I definitely think someone will pay £85-100m for him, be it ourselves, City, or United. No reason for West Ham to sell for a pound less than Grealish since they’re similar situations. Multiple years left on their contracts, their best/most important player, and he’s very young + English.

He’s going to cost a bomb for sure. I can see us doing it if Kante has an injury ravaged season.

The Grealish situation is slightly different as he had a release cause, but I still believe they overpaid for him regardless. We tend to be shrewd in the market, so hope we pursue options elsewhere.

damn,,what a perfect summer for United if they can get Sancho, Varane and Tchouameni. no more reason for Ole if he failed to win one of PL / CL...
