We should have enough money as it is we have sold for what 80M so far with Zouma on the way? Plus FFP has been relaxed so I dont get the huge delay.

Haaland alone would cost more than €200m (The rumored €175m transfer fee + €40m to Raiola and Alf-Inge + unknown wages demand).

Probably because we need to sell before buying someone, Haaland will also cost insane money after all.

I think we can afford 100m pounds net spend this summer. Club obviously knows where is the line they cannot cross...

We want Haaland 150m, Kounde 65m and Tchouameni 35m. This is 250m. We raised 60m for now. Tammy and Zouma will get us 60m minimum, we hope for more.

Many other players could get us more money like Emerson, Baka, Zappa... But club also will try for Haaland with 130m, TCH could be 30m maybe and we try to lower Kounde price as well...

I am positive... Soon we will see the outcome...

If no player is included in the deal for Kounde, then whatever we've ever earned from sale this summer will go towards buying him.

And FFP may be relaxed this year but it'll still be adjusted (probably not the right word to describe it) in the next one to make sure clubs stay in line with the spending. Otherwise, clubs would have been going bonkers this summer.

What I find strange is how City are able to go out and offer £100m for Grealish and are still after Kane who will cost well north of £100m as well, yet we are still operating under this sell in order to buy model. It’s like we’re paralyzed in the market until some suckers take our deadwood off us.

Are we legitimately scared of FFP in this day and age? City were actually caught and charged with that stuff and got barely a slap on the wrist.

Like, what would happen if the club just put a bid of £150m in for Haaland right now? The football cops gonna come and arrest Roman? I don’t get it. City are operating in a post-FFP market whilst we’re operating as though this is 5 years ago when everyone was worried about it.

City have sold/are selling their fringe players to help fund the buys.

I understand your point but this is all speculation. So many variables that we do not and cannot know. Are City planning to buy both or are they pursuing two understanding that they can only land one? Are both offers purely cash only or will both include one or more player? Both Kane and Grealish really want the moves and are pressing their clubs to release them. Haaland may be more relaxed about Chelsea and so will take a way more expensive personal deal to prise him away from BVB. Etc.

They are going to have to lose a notable player or two if they are seriously going to go for Kane as well.

I'm almost sure we will make 3 transfers:
- Kounde 100%
- Rice/Tchouaméni
- Haaland/Lukaku
Will back here after deadline day but there are to many rumours and we really need class 9.

I see us landing a CB and midfielder but failing to address our major weakness.

Pay it with installments......either get him or move on. We can barely get Kounde over the line. We shall hope for the best.

Well clearly 1 club dont give a fuck about ffp, and they almost never sell players or certainly not like us, yet they can spend 100M for Grealish and will likely get Kane as well.

Amost all transfers are paid with installments. Only release clauses in Spain has to be paid in full - but usually when a club is informed that release clause will be trigerred the clubs are making a deal for it to be paid in installments in exchange for higher fee (or other clauses)

Not sure we will have a £100m to spend before sales. I reckon it is more likely we will have somewhere between £30-50m after last seasons net of £100m. Cannot see us doing two seasons back to back.

At the moment we have approximately £55m from fees and we probably can still get decent money for Tammy (if we do find a CF) and Zouma. Some of the following players will probably raise a little but I am not sure it will be as many as people think. Baka, Bats, Drinky, RLC, Barkley are all sunk costs in my opinion so don't expect anything other than a loan for them.

Imo, we will probably have approximately £150-£175m to spend in fees. If Kounde is brought I think we can all forget about Håland.
