Bit unrealistic. He had a really good 3 or 4 months under Antonio before flakering away after the Barca game.

Tbf, Hes put some really solid matches in since over the last 2 seasons with Sarri and Frank but again hasnt been too consistent and the defence which hes been part of has been poor.

I dont see where this could be world class thing comes from. Its the same as when he was in the academy people were spouting it.

Could be world class and being world class are 2 totally different statements. Would much rather people say he is world class because that means he is doing it. As opposed to he could be, which means he isnt doing it or done it yet. I understand you need to be patient with players but you either are world class or your not. He has the potential to be a very good player but he isnt yet. He is a pretty decent player but is still flawed and still can grow.

Yeah but I rather send Chris on loan than Tomori, Chris is just average and doesnt look like getting better. His best was under Conte.

Unless Christensen hits the gym and bulks up considerably I don't think I can ever see him becoming a lock in our team. He looks like he's never lifted a weight in his life and is thin as a pole. He gets bullied physically all the time.

I prefer Zouma, Rudiger, and even Tomori over him.

Problem is tactically AC is by far the best player. His positional work and reading of the game is pretty good. His problem is the confidence/physical side of the game. I find it really strange how he hasn't been put on a training regime because if he bulked up, I think his confidence would also improve.

Ampadu, Michy, Gallagher, Tomori... All on loan to PL clubs, they will not play against us, but hopefully they do some damage to rivals... And it could be a couple more...

Players on loan in the league never play against their teams. Nothing to do with game time or agreement.

UEFA have different rules tho for European comps. And in FA cup we allowed Mount and Tomori to play against us last season. But in league this is never the case.

It's probably why he's being persisted with. Defenders do have a habit of turning WC late 20's and often there's little sign of such a rise bar natural ability, they must be seeing something.

I remember Lucio came to The Bridge with Bayern and got toyed with, his next game in our yard was with Inter and he was absolutely collosal.

So Telefoot becomes a good source? You can believe what you want, I still stand by what I said in the final convo with Jason.
If we get rice and still have kante, what formation? How does kante fit it? Will we change our whole pressing game by going to a 4-2-3-1 to play to a World class kante's strengths, or will we put a square peg in a round hole by playing him in an advanced position and worsening our overall play. 

the rumor going around and shared by many good sources is that rice would be coming in primarily to play at CB... so all of those issues you mention won’t be a problem

I have a feeling that the FA or FIFA or whoever is going to change the loan rules soon to limit how many players any one club can loan within the PL. Because you have to admit (however funny it is) that us sending loads of solid players to PL teams who can damage our rivals while not being able to damage us is not really fair.

Hope we abuse the hell out of the rules as they are, though. 😂

They already did. It was supposed to come into play this season but the pandemic happened and it was moved to next year.
