Why are we not after Belotti? Scored another two tonight.

Did you miss last season?

He failed to recapture the form from 17/18 (like Milinkovic-Savic), so interest died along with the owner overvaluing him.

Lautaro Martínez is the only CF we should seriously consider plying their trade in Serie A.

But is much better option than Barbosa or Dembele. And it's way cheaper than two, three years ago.

There's no guarantee he'd be a better option and would certainly cost more than both (Giroud will mostly be used in either deal).

I see Immobile in Belotti

Reading that Inter Milan is willing to deal Barbosa if Chelsea waives the additional fee for Giroud. Up

Which, if the club is prudent, will cause them immediately to ask why.

Many of us we're not fans of Chelsea's attempt to resign Romelu Lukaku. As far as I know Inter arr very happy with Rom but they're looking to dump Barbosa. Again, it would be prudent to wonder why.

Vesper is advising Lampard!!

--------------

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard may let up to six players leave the club during the January transfer window. The Blues are looking to add some reinforcements in their bid for a top-four finish in the Premier League as well as further Champions League success and could make some room for any incoming players.

And that is why Lampard is said to be willing to offload the likes of Marcos Alonso, Emerson Palmieri, Ross Barkley, Pedro, Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi.

Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth told the Transfer Talk podcast: “The left-back area is one Chelsea and Frank Lampard haven’t cracked yet.

Just browsed twitter and fans already moaning that we aren't signing anyone this window and this is our squad until summer, because all links have gone quiet

6 days into the window.   Morons

I mean to fair, the club have had months and months to prepare for the moment we'd be able to sign players again and it's abundantly clear which positions we need reinforcement in. I had certainly assumed we'd have acted quickly as soon as the window opened.

I'm very surprised that we don't even appear close to signing a single player currently. Not a single rumor from a reputable Chelsea source.

Lampard did say we will sign players if the right ones are available. Since our first choice targets are unobtainable this month, then I guess you gotta consider is it worth going for the B-rate or even C-rate choices for the benefit for 4-5 months? Given our past record, I wouldn't rule us out signing dud players again but if the club are confident of landing those first choice targets in the summer, then it might be worth suffering for just a few more months.
