Lukaku and CHO won starting place today.

Chris for Silva I guess. Hopefully Kante is fine but for Brighton at home Jorgi and Kova would also do it.

Maybe Saul can play as wing back for Alonso.

And I hope Chalobah and James do not repeat todays game.

Chelsea news: N’Golo Kante and Thiago Silva out of trip to Brighton after suffering fresh injury blows

I suppose a hamstring injury can happen at any time and even more so when that person is as old as Silva is but at the same time, hard not to wonder that Tuchel somewhat caused this to happen. Few weeks ago, he was suddenly playing Silva for like 3-4 consecutive games and dropping Christensen onto the bench over the contract situation. And now? Silva has a hamstring injury.

It was dumb trying to bench a player for not accepting a contract. Why does Rudiger get a free pass for doing something similar?

Club is acting dumb with the contract situation drag out for multiple players, and Tuchel isn't helping.

It's obvious that the club should be consistent in the way it treats its players. So obvious that a five year old will spot it. Given that the people in the Chelsea decision making chain are over 5, educated, experienced and successful it's clear that whatever is obvious to us here, is also blindingly obvious to them. This being so it is obvious that there is some other reason behind the fact that Chris is being treated differently to Toni. We don't know, and may never know, what that reason is but there is a reason for it.

Think the reason or at least the reason that was reported is that Christensen has supposedly agreed and then changed his mind over the new contract a few times. This obviously has annoyed the board and in Tuchel's case, maybe question where Christensen's head is at. With Rudiger, the situation is at least much more clear cut - he wants X amount of wages but the club are only willing to offer X amount and both parties just can't agree on it - and Tuchel probably knows his mindset is still clear and he still can get the max out of Rudiger.

Is it really entire fault of the club?

As mentioned, in Christensen's case, the club thought they had agreed the deal with him but Christensen has changed his mind a few times over the new contract. With Rudiger, the club aren't willing to give what he wants (which you can debate whether it's worth it or not). Silva at least looks a certainty to sign and god knows what's gonna happen with Azpi.

Pulisic seems to be a much better option. He was creating chaos on the right side once Lukaku came in and he handled the role on defense. Saul seems to be slow in his decision making and I can’t see him dribbling past anyone in the final third.

Educated guess. Rudi has made his position clear (aka likely leaving but still 100% committed until then) while Christensen is pissing us about.
