Reece James’s injury sounds serious. So it’ll be Alonso and Pulisic (who has looked like a fish out of water there) as wingbacks for the long term unless we buy someone.

That’s the stuff of nightmares when you see our fixture list this coming month. We could very realistically go into utter free fall.

Two games in a row CHO has a absolutely  bottled goal scoring chances.

He lacks pace, is one dimensional and is an atrocious finisher. It’s so pathetic he is our best winger and no surprise we are now 8 points off City.

is a thick fucker sometimes. Fixed it for you.

Chelsea can't win the title with these  ''wingers'' who can't score . It's not possible to catch City  and Liverpool with   CHO , Pulisic , Werner , Ziyech .

CHO how long will we wait for him to show the talent that everyone claims he have?

Pulisic is either injured or out of position or out of shape .

Werner have more offsides instead of goals .

Jorginho has been Chelsea's top scorer for the second season. JORGINHO .

Stupid misery .

Fuck off .

More misery..mostly because he is our penalty taker and we've had a lot of penalties.

Azpi at right wing back is the better option with the run of games we have coming up, especially the Liverpool and City games.

The problem is with Silva and Christensen both injured and unsure how bad both are, we may not even have that luxury.

Seem to be bouncing from injury crisis to injury crisis in different positions on the pitch (midfield to attack and now to defence).

Love when people bring up his ‘metrics’ compared to our other attackers when CHO is the biggest failure when it comes to the eye test.

I’m finished with him.

Against Liverpool we would not have both our starting wingbacks.. sigh...

Well...to be fair. It was sort of like that at Anfield too.

James lasted only 45 mins in that game.

But sigh...we looked like a different team back then. Fresh off the champions league victory and determined not to be beaten.

I will say this. Squad morale has been low for weeks. And I'm pretty sure all this nonsense with contract renegotiations, whilst maybe not the root cause, has put a dampener on the team. We started to deteriorate well before the injury crisis escalated.

It’s different for Kovacic - he hasn’t played 90 minutes since the cup game v Southampton 2 months ago and after getting 72 minutes prior to tonight in the last 6 days or so v Villa and Brentford, he should be much sharper but it really was the opposite.

I would go as far as saying it looked as if he was trying to work out how to play football for the first time at times tonight for 75% of the game. People were looking forward to him coming back and giving us another body and a boost in this period but he was terrible and even as bad as Jorgi played, I really don’t think he played much worse than Kovacic.

Kovacic also got COVID recently.

People might not want to hear it but think it's hard to estimate or know the impact of COVID on the players, especially as each person's body can react differently to the virus etc. Some may take a short time to get back into shape, some may take longer and all that. It's partly why Tuchel has been complaining to the media over the last 1-2 weeks.

Not saying I'm agreeing with MB but way too early? CHO has been playing in the first team for like 3-4 years now.

Has not played regularly, has had to fill in wingback positions. At 21, he is well worth investing in. His performances have been better than Werner, Ziyech, Pulisic, even Havertz this season.

Lamptey was good again vs Chelsea. That Marc Cucurella fella looks really composed on the ball. Brighton really have a team full of players comfortable on the ball except the CBs

they soon get Dunk back, who is more composed on the ball
