Bayern in 2nd in a one team league and now beat by a third tier team. The heat is going to get more intense if BVB beat them this weekend.

They are usually lagging behind at the start but always win in the end

They won't. Bayern have not done too much wrong this season apart from last night. League position does not mean shit this early in the season. 23 points from 27 is a very decent return anyway. Leverkusen and Stuttgart have just been really lucky. There is no chance in hell Bayern won't have won Bundesliga by mid April 2024 but I don't see them doing much in CL tbh. Kane is flattrack-bullying them through the league and they are scoring for fun but defensively, esp. now with de Ligt out for half the season they will struggle in CL latter stages

Would anyone take him back?

Not in million years.

Could never have success long term. Could only get worse as we saw it anyway. Sarri would be better pick as many others. Tuchel football was painful. For me personally even Potter was less painful.

only in the last season with us

the season we won the ucl and season after we provide nice football with very solid defense

our problem was the lack of quality in our attack

Tuchel is having loud howlers with Bayern, but they aren't doing bad and their situation only proves our very own case, more than his inability - you can't have a winning machine, if the club is a dumpster fire behind the scenes, yet to a smaller extent.

No manager have 100% win cheat code, yet Tuchel:

- Is an elite tactician and elite is something that Chelsea sorely lacks.
- Is a proactive coach, and proactivity is something that Chelsea sorely lacks.
- Actually cares, that is something that Chelsea sorely lacks.
- Proven himself in Chelsea wasteland, where even most talented men turn absolute crap.

Cut the „I know why he was let go but I won't tell” bs. If there was any kind of abuse or misdemeanor, just call it out as sweeping such things under the rug doesn't make you look very good tbh. And if not, just piss off and admit you fired the best man for the job we could come upon for some superficial reasons.

There was talk that TT wasn't interested in recruitment and it was no-go for the owner, but just look at Kepa situation or 3473947 random Brazilian kids and tell me Poch had any say with it. I won't believe, no matter what circumstances, the club would do any worse under Tuchel, than it did with Potter or is doing now. And the „he wouldn't provide long-term success” - like, what do you mean? He does the best he can with resources he has. He won freaking CL. Building for long-term is more on the club than it is on the manager as we can witness right here and right now.

Well they did sign the best striker from England for like 100 million...not to mention De Ligt, Kim at the back.

The funniest thing is, both Mourinho and Ancelotti were far better managers for Chelsea than Tuchel could ever hope to be.

There is a reason why we won the league under them, it was a team fighting for something.   Tuchel effectively built a cup team that was running on emotion.

Meanwhile we did sign the best striker and defender from Italy for well over 100, I won't get into further details 😆

Maybe so, maybe no. Mou kinda invented the "ugly football" that many people criticize Tuchel for (and prefer Potter due to it, lol), and then almost got relegated, yet I don't regret he was our manager for all those stints.

Hard to judge as Mou and Ancelotti had the peak Chelsea at their disposal, both squad and corporate wise, without City or Pool being ridiculously overpowered teams. Meanwhile Tuchel assembled the "cup team" from pretty much variety parts bin in eternal crisis, good enough for me.

Potter thing aside, I have hard time believing that, with due respect, Poch will at least match this run anytime soon.

As predicted, Bayern wiped the floor with Dortmund. Surprisingly, they also played scintillating  attacking football.
But this quickly became a sideshow when TT picked a fight with Lothar Matthäus in the post match and stormed out of the interview. Will be interesting how Bayern will deal with this. At this point not sure if TT is pulling a Mourinho on purpose by making this about a battle vs the media or if he is just so pissed he doesn’t care. But Bayern management hate this and will at some point fire him for this.

absolute shit now

has been for ages

I never want to hear his name brought up again in terms of being a Chels manager again

Why so?

In terms of output he produced with limited resources, to put it lightly, he equaled or beaten the legendary Mou's run. He had the genuine enthusiasm for the team unseen here bar maybe Mou. He was far from yes-man until given death kiss from the board in form of Lukaku. AND he has actual modern tactical knowledge and feel that wipes the floor with every manager after him and most of those before.

He is abysmal with Bayern? Yeah, so are the world-conquering starlets in form of Enzo, Caicedo and whatever another 25 Brighton players we've got here. He at least has an excuse in form of his life being rather rocky lately and Bayern being not less toxic dumpster fire than us.

He suffered with us at the end of his stint? Yeah, but hundreds of millions Euros, few managers and ~20 players later we still aren't any better, so maybe it wasn't all on him, since we closely avoided relegation battle with his replacement.

I'd take him back instantly, however have no doubt that manager of his character and gravitas is Clearlake's nightmare fuel. I've seen him frustratingly stubborn but never had I seen him clueless and that's drastic change of quality from what we had later.

we suffered with tuchel for like the whole calendar year until his sacking. we were playing some afwul football. everything after that is just a bigger disaster.

bayern is a shitshow also, from the board to the overhyped and non-motivated leaders. nothing surprising after dominating for almost 10 years. bound to happen. unfortunately for tuchel, everyone views it as solely his fault.

People are miraculously forgetting how shit we had become under Tuchel before he was sacked.

Short memories.

But let's not hate on a man who delivered our second CL trophy. For most of us.. he will always be a Legend for that alone.
