I like Potter and he does tick a lot of boxes, but I'm fairly certain he isn't a manager that Boehly and Co had in mind since May for the club's long term vision. Trossard is 28 years old in a couple of months and his best PL season (out of three full season) was one with 8 goals and 3 assists. Mount's last season was 11G+10A in the PL and outside his 'end product' he also offered a tireless engine well suited for a high pressing system. The thing is: do you believe the club is in good position to make this kind of decision right now? All the football structure was gone, and the new owner appointed himself as DoF. LOL It seems he also loves the spotlight, and is posing for pictures with his new players...he is basically acting like a billionaire with his new toy.
