We do have a midfield, a powerful one at that, just not used effectively.

What happened just now is another case of not learning from the past. This was just like the West Ham game back in June/July. We weren't playing well, struggling to score and instead of just saying "okay, let's just settle for the point here, run and regroup", we overcommitted ourselves brainlessly and conceded a late winner. Fucking joke!

Putting crosses into the box is one thing - sides like Liverpool and Man City do that a lot - but what I don't get is why we kept putting high crosses into the box for the likes of Werner and Pulisic to win. If it's delivered for Giroud, fine, go high with the cross but otherwise, why the fuck were we putting high crosses in? Where were the low crosses or even the cutbacks!? And another frustrating thing was nobody was intelligent enough to stay deeper and pick up the second balls - there were a good number of them - but yet, everyone kept trying to go for the high crosses!

This season was always going to be a struggle to incorporate new players with little or no pre-season.

Yes, Havertz has had a bit of shocker lately, but what do you do? Stick him on the bench or play him until he finds some form. It can take players a season to adapt to the PL. 

We won't see the best of this team until everyone is fit. We have a couple of injuries, the wheels fall off and it's all Frank's fault. 

Let's see where we are at the end of the season - I'm predicting comfortable 3rd place minimum 👍

Let me say, all of this attacking problem will be solved once Ziyech is back. But we made 200+ signing. We should be much better offensively but not sure we do. Last year there was a spell when we struggle to score because Lamp decided to freeze Giroud and Pedro. Once Pulisic got injured and tammy misfired we had no other player.
