I never doubt his quality and commitment, but yes have to admit, his physical condition might have much worse since the last time he was here. Hope Jose take this into account, whether we have to buy another backup striker.

Torres is staying anyway. I stopped hoping that he'd leave. But if Drogba really is injured, we might actually get a good substitute striker for Costa, which we desperately need. With all due respect to Drogba, he's no longer good enough or young enough to be our main striker if Costa gets injured/suspended/has a run of poor form.

Marca are saying 4-6 months, take that with a pinch of salt for now but gutted if true.

If he really is out for most of the season we'll definitely have to go after another striker now.
