🇨🇮 Didier Drogba

Didier Drogba's management company have dismissed claims that the Ivorian striker has been released by Shanghai Shenhua. A spokeswoman for the Sports PR Company, which represents Drogba in the UK, insisted reports the former Chelsea striker's career in China were over after two and a half months were "nonsense". She added that UEFA Champions League hero Drogba, who paid a visit to his old club's training ground this week, would return to Shanghai after the international break, which sees his Ivory Coast take on Senegal. As a result of such claims, we can only logically assume that Didier Drogba and Anelka are still at the club in which they both left Chelsea to play for.

as i had stated on the first page of this thread it was said by Jeff Stelling on Soccer Saturday.the fact that D.D`s P.R. company came out and made a statement denying the rumours clearly shows that there were rumours out there to deny, rather than myself just making it up.

only lil cry babies would say members should be banned for something as minor as reporting on what they had heard on a t.v sports show.

if sharing rumours heard that turn out to be untrue at this time is a banning offence then many more members would have been banned before me.

A funn/sad thing just come to my mind. Last season RVP got topscorer with 30 goals, 3 more than rooney. He also won the player of the year award. Arsenal won - surprise surprise - zero trophies that season, ManUtd did finish emptyhanded, too. In 2010 Drogba scored 29 goals also 3 more than Rooney. Utd did not win anything, Rooney got player of the year nonetheless, whilst we won the double. Now tell me there are no double standards

So what's going on here?, I'm confused, has he left Shanghai or is he staying there?.

The majority owner wanted some more control or something, didn't want to pay Drogba + Anelka's wages, but apparently the issue is cleared up and both will stay.

Have you guys seen this? Not great quality but Incredible stuff.

PS: Apologies if it's a re-post.

Thanks for posting this.

Most of this is coverd in his book , but it was good to see some of the pictures to go with it. I would love him to bring a new autobigrophy out , adding the rest of his career as it would be nice to see what he has to say about Chelsea now.

After watching you realise how important he was to our sucess and if Torres had half his passion he could achive the same.
