nono 791
He keeps talking about incorporating players into his style of football but what does he really mean ? All i really see is a defensive approach. Two games we've nicked in the dying minutes and finally we lost points today against a really poor side. He hasn't binned any of our underperformers from last season. Every new manager must take a year to assess the garbage in our squad and since we change managers every year they'll basically be with us forever. As for Conte what is really special about him? I don't see it so far. Mourinho wouldve had the exact same lineup that he's been playing so what was the point of bringing him in ? The football hasn't really changed and the youth players can't even make the squad.
nono 791
Wish we had Guardiola. He would've really transformed the team.

Yea the starting line up is frustrating at times but comon, you really think the team under Hose last year would have faught as hard to get the draw or a possible win? Conte has definitely changed a beaten up mentality to a fighting spirit. Who knows if he is just resting players like Cesc for the bigger ganes that we have coming up! After going 1 up our play became really lethargic. We didn't fight hard at all. Frantic scurrying in the last 10 mins to save two points isnt really fighting hard. Any professional player with dignity would do that. The Rising Sun

Only first 4 games of the season. Even Guardiola's City don't look a special team. Actually the Manchester derby from yesterday was far from a flawless one, and City didn't look "solid". Some people in this forum are really trying to picture Conte as a genius (some are vem saying we scored the 2nd goal because of his subs, perhaps in a attempt to picture him as a game changer), and there is nothing at this point to suggest he is a genius, but there is also nothing to suggest he is a fraud. We started the team with the same shit back four as last season. Swansea 2nd goal was a Cahill+Terry construction. Terry passed the ball to Cahill in a dangerous position (first mistake), and Cahill was really slow with his reaction (2nd mistake). You cant blame Conte for the quality of the back 4. To other side I'm getting worried about his decisions to play the same players every single game. It seems he is doing a Mourinho and fielding the same players no matter who the opponent is. His in game decisions are not impressing at all. Moses replacing Willian was a weird move, Fabregas was introduced too late, and Batshuay for Oscar was the cliché 2CF in the last minutes that barely pays off. Don't expect this team to challenges for PL trophy this season. Getting a top 4 finish will be a huge achievement. nono

nono 791
They are missing 4 starting players. Kompany, Aguero, Gabriel Jesus and Gundogan. Their football just looks way more fluid whereas ours is just as disjointed as last season because we haven't really changed anything at all apart from the defense. Tbf Guardiola is starting with a much stronger group. Man City have better footballers (ability on the ball mainly) in pretty much every single position. You make a combined XI and who makes the teams? Kante and Hazard and that's about it. kellzfresh, Blue-in-me-Veins, Barbara and 2 others
