We HAVE to win this game. It's a must. We can't "settle for a draw" against no one. We're 3 points above relegation zone, for Christ's sake. Go all out attack, we MUST win. We won't bounce back by only beating the teams that are bellow us in the table, because... there aren't too many of them :) We have to win against the bigger fishes. Just like we should've beaten Watford and should've tried more against United. Don't get used to being shit. We are still champions. We do not settle for draws against no team in this league.

That's the spirit! Let's hope our players can step up their game and play like they give a flying fuck tomorrow against the mighty Palace away from home. We are the champions of England, and they aren't.

Just looking at net spends of teams (fun, fun, fun).

In Mourinho's time here we've spent £89 million. That's roughly £30 million a season.

In the same time Palace have spent £66 million. That's just £8 million less per season, and this year we spent that extra £8 million on Papy Djidyoutouchme and Michael Hector.

These are two similarly ambitioned teams.

You do realize you've just given the perfect example of why net spend is an incorrect way to measure ambition ? Unless you actually believe us and Palace share the same ambition.

I think this summer both teams had the ambition of finishing top four.

I'm actually quite surprised at the level of investment the board/Roman made into the club. If you factor in Cuadrado's loan being a transfer of around £15 million that will end up going through this summer but effectively already having occurred, then that figure drops even further.

Makes u realize how much the team/club degenerated slowly under the radar because of that narcissistic machiavellian demon of Mourinho. I got no respect for him, he clearly ate away the dressing room's spirit through his nasty shadow self.

This whole mess has clear psychological roots, look how much he ruined Matic's self-belief and worth on the pitch. Matter of fact is Mourinho is a power-hungry snake with well-trained machiavellian traits that took advantage of his status in the club to keep playing his lousy, unimaginative cowardly type of football and when we got found a long long time ago, the naive and cowardly board didn't do anything until after countless bouts of humiliation against smaller teams. Either way, I'm still in celebration mode when thinking that his poision is no longer around. The players are also slowly recovering from the mental exhaustion he was causing them.

Totally agree. I am glad that cancer is gone and I hope thats the last we see of him. Totally classless headcoach with his specialist in failire talk, patronizing diego costa acting like a thug just for ppints, selling mata luiz schurrle de briyne salah, lukaku, just because they are attack minded players who have no time for his negative park the bus tactics. Never giving the kids a chance to name a few. Wouldnt mind hiddink taking the job fulltime with drogba and terry as assistant coaches. We need our chelsea dna back after that mourinho cancer attack

Wow, you guys really didn't like Jose did you. Maybe taking it a bit far though aren't we? I mean the guy did win us the league and in his first time here laid the foundations for other managers to have success. Drogba and Terry, the guys you talk about having as assistants, talk about him in glowing terms and would undoubtably be influenced by him.

I can see a lot of 'fans' deserting chelsea in cyberspace if we are relegated, or indeed have a few seasons of mediocrity which I fully anticipate.

Disgusting the way some are talking about the greatest manager this club have ever had. Thank god its not really representative.

2015 for Chelsea was terrible, Hazard got us the title and in this season we are relegation candidates, let's hope to kick in new year with a bang- 6-0 Hazard hatrick, Costa, Willian freekick, Kenedy with 93rd minute goal, assist from RLC. Sadly my expectations always turn to draw or losing this season...

I'll be surprised if we win this. Pardew knows just how to play against us. In that stadium with the best home support in the league, if we concede early I can see us crumbling yet again and losing badly. He'll have them pressing us high and not allowing our midfield players time on the ball which every opponent knows is our biggest weakness.

it's really funny!one really bad half a season with us and wherever he goes he'll take them down.Yes he wasn't perfect and slightly lost the plot but still..he's gone!players were fine against Sunderland and crap again after so how does that work.

Anyho must win though every game is.start the year with a bang rather then a whimper

Here's a stat...or two:

1. Crystal Palace can become the first club to complete the Premier League double over Chelsea since Liverpool achieved it in 2011/12 (lost 2-1 at home and 4-1 away).

2. Crystal Palace can become the first London club to complete the Premier League double over Chelsea since Arsenal did it in 2003/04 (lost 2-1 home and away).

I think Jose had to go but yes, the way people are talking about him is mega disrespectful. He will always be a very important figure here at the club, he's an icon. Just didn't work out the 2nd time around but that doesn't mean he deserves to be called certain names.
