Fernando 6,591
if SAF retires its JM to UTD. End of story. I just know it.....SAF always said he wanted to go out on top. Well, he's on top now (of EPL) dont see why he'd risk managing more years and perhaps not win it.Actually is Moyes to United. As just recently there was an influx of bets for Moyes to take over at united. Saw that news a couple of days ago and found it interesting. So if this is true that saf is retiring then insiders already knew and where putting money on Moses. Blue-in-me-Veins
Pizy 18,985
I know it would be extremely unpopular here, but if we do miss out on Jose, we may as well keep Rafa.Doing as good a job as he can now with a tissue-thin squad with a poor strike force and no steel in midfield. Bring in a few top players and we'd have the best available manager already here and it wouldn't cost us anything. Plus the players are familiar with him.Pray Jose is locked down though and it won't come to that.
Blue-in-me-Veins 4,067
tbh he is a decent coach if he wasn't such a cunti would say if not so naieve instead of a cunt. But i guess for a 34yr old manager thats part of the growing pains.

Alan Partridge 1,124
Maybe SAF knows Jose is likely to come here. There is a good chance Jose could win us the league, City can win the league too. He may realize this season could be his last league winning season for a while.

The Mak 4,459
Moyes to United if anything. Makes more sense with the odds being slashed. Giggs/Scholes to step up to coaching roles, maybe even Ole to be assistant manager.Bobby Charlton fucking despises Mourinho., don't think it'll happen. Especially given Mourinho's not-so-subtle Chelsea hints in the past while.
Pizy 18,985
The problem is that there will be another fans rage craziness and this season will happen all over againYes, but if Rafa fucks up and gets sacked at least no one will be upset. If we appoint another manager and he fails and gets sacked, we'll be right back to square one and a laughing stock. Mourinho 6/4 for Man Utd postJose Mourinho has been backed in from 20/1 to 6/4 to be the next Manchester United manager amid speculation that Sir Alex Ferguson is considering his position.Borussia Dortmund's highly-rated manager Jurgen Klopp is the third favourite, coming in from 20/1 to 8/1 with some backing, while Ryan Giggs is 20/1 alongside Mike Phelan.Sky Bet Football Trader Chris Spicer said: "We saw a surge of backing for David Moyes to be the next Manchester United manager on Saturday despite no real noises surrounding Ferguson's future but, with a national paper now reporting that an announcement could be made before the end of the week, Mourinho is now attracting the majority of the money."The 'Special One' looked destined to return to Stamford Bridge, but if the job at Old Trafford became vacant then his head could be turned."http://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/article/165/8698336/mourinho-6-4-for-man-utd-post
Superblue 6,372
I will be hugely pissed if after all this intense speculation, Jose ends up at United. One would hope that his past history of job longevity puts him out of the running. With David Moyes' contract running out at the end of this season, he would seem the natural choice...hopefully.If we manage to pull off bringing Jose in and United lost Fergie, we will have a massive chance for the title next year. 1chelsea

Right before any news came out today. So like I said, the smart money, or the insiders where already betting that Moyes would take over. As they know. laeth 527
United wouldn't go near Jose anyway I don't think; doesn't seem like their type of manager. xPetrCechx

It is more like disappointing. Because all that stuff that Mourinho talked about loving the club and all this and that, that he chooses another club. Then that will show him to be a fake! Bosnian Blue 2,471
Jose has made some really smart comments recently. Forcing his exit and forcing Madrid to let him go without a compensation, which, I believe, will happen in the end. I don't think he'll resign, but he'll rather make a gentlemen's agreement with Perez without having to pay anything. If a mutual agreement is reached then no compensation is needed. This is what I think will happen because of two things:a ) Jose wants to leaveb ) Real Madrid want Jose to leaveSimple as that.
