Darogba 112
Finally happened. Thanks for the memories Jose but it's the correct decision. Let's all support whoever they appoint and get behind the club.
Fernando 6,585
I'm relieved, this guy is such a toxic man.Has drag the club down to the mud, and all the good work done by the board is gone because of him.Now to pick up again slowly and hopefully next season we can have something to smile about. It's just been a tortured and I'm glad they put him out if his misery. 11Drogba and bellion
Dy-lan 142
Gutted is not even the word. I have no motivation to do anything today. It will honestly be disgusting if the players looks world beaters next match. TheIceMan, iseah100, Viper22 and 1 other

Fulham Broadway 17,333
Stupid. Great loss to English football. Or Man Utds gain.Good time for the board to do it though, we'll beat Sunderland and it will look as though they and Abramovich have done the right thing. calculatingInfinity 1,472
The board are partly to blame as well, but mostly for the transfer window in the summer, this decision was probably needed. Which pains me to say, firing a manager twice who has won the league 3 times for you... Mourinho made mistakes no doubt, but the players attitude is what pisses me off the most. Hazard, Fabregas and Oscar particularly has to be thrown out of the club to the highest bidder as soon as possible. Many other have underperformed as well, but it is mostly those 3 that have had a disgraceful attitude as well as playing badly. Costa maybe as well, I am unsure, he is clearly crazy, and also under performing, but had has shown more fight and will than most of the rest sadly. Now time for half a year with an interim and guesses and rumors about who will be the new manager. For fucks sake. TheIceMan
Popular Post! Viper22 2,418 Posted December 17, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted December 17, 2015 Well then Mourinho is sacked. I don't think any of us can be truly surprised and not many can argue that there weren't ample reasons to sack him, even if they would argue that we should have kept him.1 thing I would say though, those of you that hounded him out, that insulted him and demanded him be sacked; you reap what you sow. Remember this 1/2/5/10 years down the line that you may never ever complain about Chelsea sacking managers early or about the lack of long term managerial stability. I'm not saying you were wrong, but just remember is all I say.The last few months have been painful to say the least but I wish to extend my heartfelt gratitude towards Jose for bringing us yet another title to go with the 2 he brought us in his first spell. That double last year has ensured that his second spell here should (and will be by the vast majority of Chelsea fans) be viewed as a success. My final thought is for the players. I hope you're all happy now. Mourinho wasn't perfect tactically, or with his siege mentality, but even if we'd had my grandma in charge this season I would still be embarrassed to have played as poorly as they have done this season (barring very few exceptions) and you all ought to be ashamed because you're not coming out of this well whatever happens. If you all start playing brilliantly now then you obviously were not trying for Mourinho, which is unacceptable when the man just led you all to a double and protected you all the whole damn time when you cocked up. If you all carry on playing terribly then you're obviously just not bothered about the club and can, quite frankly, fuck off. Tomo 21,751
There's also a different pressure now. This season has set the club back. Winning the league in 16/17 is unrealistic. Scratch that, downright impossible. Think it will be between the Manc clubs and possibly Arsenal. Finishing in the top 4 will be the goal. Even a title in 17/18 seems far-fetched. The coming years will be about repairing the damage and introducing new blood.I dunno, unlike when we bombed in 11/12 we still have a good enough squad, if we make the right appointment and add with really good players, I think its possible, hard but possible. DYC. 7,542
Don't think he's responsible for the mess. That's on him, the players and the footballing side of the board. Things simply weren't working. A case of falling and not being able to get up. It happens. Usually not in such extreme fashion like this, especially in Mourinho's case.I do think his time here was close to being finished. I thought he would be here until the end of the season but he worsened his situation with the drama and the antics. You look at how Klopp dealt with his situation at Dortmund last season and you look at Mourinho, and it's just a massive difference. He'll do fine elsewhere and Chelsea have to try to repair the damages as quickly as they can. This season has put the club back unfortunately. Such a mess.
