Tomo 21,751
still, it's exciting to be such a fuck-up of a team this season. we haven't just gone down limply like United did, we're going down in style. it's quite beautiful and haunting. poetry will be written inspired by this season. In a weirdly perverse way I enjoy it when we have a bad spell. That's when I tend to shout my support evenlouder than when we win, then I get United fans flocking my Facebook with the "you do realise your shit at the moment" type of response, which sums it up #notallonlysingwhentheywin. yuvala 2,167
You guys have to agree that it is only reasonable to keep him here ATLEAST untill the end of this season ? (and IMO next season also even if we achieve nothing.)Do we really want this whole manager spinning door thing again ? If we part company with Jose it should only happen when we have a top manager lined up 100%. Pep, Klopp, Simeone..
Jase 43,479
Would be more enjoyable if DIFFERENT PLAYERS got into the starting lineup. But those DIFFERENT PLAYERS consist of players that many have moaned about (Mikel, Ramires etc) because they aren't that good. Apart from the defence and forward departments, we don't exactly have that many options in midfield. It really is a tricky situation. quickpassnmove
Popular Post! Blue Colored Sky 1,807 Posted September 13, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted September 13, 2015 Sorry, many points are valid, but there's no much self-entitlement, and big egos going on (which is SOOOOOO amusing when said people are slamming mourinho for having a big ego) that is hard to take some people seriously. Also, if we're out of UCL for a season, if we don't win bullocks this season, it won't be the first, second or even tenth time in the history of this club. It's not the end of the world. We rose to the world's football elite very quickly and even if we momentarily fall off of it, it won't be the end of the world either. We can just easily climbed it up again. Ask anyone 12 years ago if they believed our rising to football elite would be as fast as it had been and they would laugh hard in your face and call you delusional. If we did it once, I don't see why we couldn't do it again from a much better 'starting' point right now, have things gone to the worst. The overreaction is still overboard by how far some people are taking this. And if by losing the football elite badge would mean losing some sort of fans, I'm all for it and I'll embrace it with all my heart. With quantity there's always a drop in quality, so I wouldn't mind that at all. What the fuck, weren't you the main person here that dismissed ALL THE THINGS being said here, all the wrong things that are visible in everything but (most) results, those ironic posts that everyone is spoiled here etc. and now you write, let's quote it here because it's funny, that "being out of the Champions League is not the end of the world", hmm, WE WERE CHAMPIONS, WE WERE WINNING, EVERYONE WHO HAS SOMETHING CRITICAL TO SAY IS SPOILED, everything was so, so fine in the second part of the season and now look, you suggest that the champions, with the same exact squad, which is not old btw, may be out of the champions league, I'm not the only one that sees big contradiction here ? Guess we weren't that fine last season after all, right ? (that's what you're saying indirectly) and all that ironic posts at that time, I can only say that you ridiculed yourself now, Barbara. And last thing, no one is happy to come here and say "I told you so" because frankly me and lionsden and I'm sure most of the other "critics" were seen how inevitable it all was. I'm not THAT surprised to be fair. Maybe because I'm used to this I mean I'm no more frustrated watching this than most of the games from second part of last season (but gosh, I miss those times when Chelsea at least won with nothing performance)We all support Chelsea through thick and thin and there's still enough time to turn this. As wise words say though "I know what Jose means to the club and I don't want him gone. But no one can help it he himself wants to be sacked. What in hell is he doing?" killer1257, EMK, Azul and 8 others
CurlyHairLikeLuiz 1,625
5 games in and there's already those calling for Mou's head,.. So much plastic, maybe it would be good for the club to burn off some of the false fan base.Heads up, it's quite plausible for City to drop 15 points. We dropped a lot. Also with Aguero out, arsenal coming up (afaik, the same useless Jose beat them 6-0 just two years ago) this is the perfect time to bounce back and I hope we seize the chance. Jase 43,479
Chelsea’s José Mourinho rages at Roberto Martínez over order of dutiesLife is never dull being a Chelsea fan.
kmk108 1,186
This board gets funnier every week.Calling for Mourinho's head isn't being plastic. It's being quick to judgment, but it's not plastic. Personally, I don't want a revolving door on the touchline, but there comes a time when you have to look at what is going on and figure out who is/are at fault. A lot of it is on the players on the pitch, but Mourinho is responsible for a lot of how the team plays/thinks. We've seen how these players can perform at their best, and it's a big coincidence that they all turn off at the exact same time. That's why I'm blaming Mourinho for a lot of this. BUT, for me, the sack isn't reasonable during the season, unless things get dire halfway through the season. Not out of Europe dire, relegation battle dire. That's why I don't think he should be sacked this season. But, if there's a manager out there that wants to come to Chelsea in the summer, and Jose looks like he doesn't want to stay/doesn't want to improve, we can't sit here and throw our full support to a manager that isn't doing his job.Being mad/frustrated we're not winning isn't being plastic. It's expecting a top team to play like a top team. That's not unreasonable. Should we all just sit complacently while this team embarrasses themselves every weekend just because it's better than it used to be? Chelsea got to the level it is because of aspirations. Once you kill the aspirations, you lose everything you built. EMK

Finishing outside the Champions League places would be really bad, arguably even worse than not winning the title.

Billy. 2,742
There are still 99 points on table you are saying he is lost? This is insane from u guys im sorry. Anyway another fact that luck is against us..."At our tactical meeting, even the computer broke." - Mourinho. Just being realistic mate. Yeah mathematically we can still do it, but we are poor and show no signs or improving anytime soon, and city look brilliant. And at this point last season everybody was saying Chelsea have won the title already because of our good start and citys poor start. Whats the difference now? lionsden 4,689
Little warming thing is that they don't have a week to prepare so there'll be no shit talking about 'positive reaction' from the players and how they worked the best ever !One thing I noticed, isn't that Mourinho went more emotional ? I mean, when he praises his team after Chelsea - Liverpool (1:0 in COC semi-final) through the roof even though, let's face it, performance-wise it was average, we conceded several chances to them and scored only from set-piece, but Mourinho was so full of praise of the team like we smashed and outplayed them. When we win against any semi-decent opponent for Mourinho, at least what he says, is that everything is all right. He doesn't analyse performances anymore ? WTF ? He truly bielieves that they are really that good (even though they're not) because they're champions ?Also he is super autocratic man, when he says that decision about team selection and tactics, it's not his decision but the whole team, assistans, analytics, well I don't believe it, it seems that it's 100% he makes decision and how dare anyone can have diffrent opinion ? His assistans seems scared of him. Don't believe there's much of discussion there. You need diffrent perspectives to see things but it seems assistans just follow the leader. It's shocking isn't it. How can you improve as a team when the manager considers every average/poor performance good enough. great longterm managers are never satisfied, they always strive to improve their teams performances, form, tactics, fitness etc. with jose, you get the feeling that he has very low standard and settles a lot.We are paying him millions to analyse matches and the players in order to come up with a solution and to improve the team in all areas and at the moment he's failing miserably.
