Here's an interesting stat -

Some results after only 48 hrs rest: draw with WBA, loss at Basel, loss at Stoke, loss at Sunderland, draw with West Ham, draw at WBA. #CFC

Mou has to do something about this, maybe by rotating some players - for instance Oscar obviously cannot play 2 games in such a short time.

To think that last year, we had to play with a schedule like that all year.

Not that I necessarily disagree with the point (after all, we've been playing well and Mourinho probably wants to continue the consistency) but rather than Oscar, perhaps others like Hazard or Willian should have probably been rested. Oscar, after all, for instance didn't play in last Monday's game against City while the likes of Hazard, Willian etc did.

We just need to rotate more. This will become more and more key as the season wears on. Schurrle, Ba, Cole, etc..can and should start some games to give other players a breather.

There definitely seems to be a lack of trust on our squad players, if you like. They might not be great but good enough to do a job when required. Mourinho's reluctance to bring off Cahill, who was clearly injured, yesterday for Cole and shift Ivanovic back to CB and Azpi to RB probably illustrates this.

What is it that Ramires does/ does not do which you don't like? And who would be preferred to do a better job? Do not underestimate Ramires' contribution not only since he has being at CFC but particularly this season. Look at the amount of minutes he has played. He is essential.

His lack of intelligence for starters (painful enough dealing with Luiz and Torres) then there's the limited technical ability issue which makes simple task such as controlling the ball and executing a simple 5 yard pass an mission impossible for him especially when he's off form like he's been for a long time. Also his knack for committing silly fouls and in dangerous positions. We can do much much better than him.

we need a more technically gifted midfielder than ramires....thinking seriuosly we should dive into kroos race....gr8 passes ...could compliment matic....and please oh god please...no more mikel!!! as far as back line is considered kurt zouma will solve that issue....

imo lamps should have played instead of ramires... :(

Jose got this one wrong IMO! Looked like he settled for one nil!

Luiz never at Center back again please!! Horrendous , Ivan should play there if need be and ashley back in!

So ridiculous the points we have dropped this season! 6 points against city and 2 against West Brom ! NOT going to win the title doing that !

Never question Mou. And if you haven't noticed, contending teams tend to falter against the lower teams. It's not that big of a deal. We'll bounce back against City. Never question Mou.

If we lose will we question him?

I agree he is the best manager in the world atm along with Pep but never question him is just terribly bias. Remember as much as we love him he is not God, no one is perfect. Yesterday was his biggest fuck up this season imo along with both Basel games.

Most useful post I have seen for a long time ;)

Agreed Salad and Hampard should have started :) with Shirley coming on in 2nd half,.. No point in having a team if you don't rotate :)

No but seriously, players looked tired, especially Hazard. Mourinho should have played Schurrle-Oscar-Salah

Matić-Lampard

I first thought that we shouldn't rotate and go all guns blazing, but when the game started you could see that the players were tired.

And we desperetly need good replacement for Terry when he's out.

Decent read, but with one complaint: I am sick and tired of journos promoting the bullshit that Mourinho would've rather gone to Urnited. I wish they would get it through their thick, microcephalic skulls that Mourinho has always wanted to come back to Chelsea. He had been hinting at this long before Moyes was announced or SAF retired.

An exclusive of Mourinho in Daily Mail after having become the ambassador of 'Jaguar' and he spoke about the title race (Arsenal, Liverpool etc), our FA Cup game, Terry etc..
