The Mourinho Thread

The surprise is that we can go from completely bossing them to getting destroyed 2 weeks later?

As said above, it can also be that some players could give two cents about this competition.

FA Cup really has lost is luster when you have CL and PL, not to mention these other two competitions pay the bills!

I'm not as upset about this as I would be with a league loss, but I gotta say... This did not look like a Mourinho team at all. No sense of urgency, barely any effort... I can't really remember any dangerous attacks other than that Hazard run in the first half. Fix it next game José.

Didn't even tell the players to show some urgency, fucking hell. At least if you want to throw it away play the fucking reserve 11 instead of best 11. It is like saying we are gonna go to the race in our Ferrari but drive it safe today because I don't feel like it. Obviously you are gonna fucking lost, might as well save the fuel and brought out a Ford Focus instead. Hazard, Willian, Eto'o all could have done with a rest, same with Cahill, Dave and Matic.

I don't mind the loss tbh, but what the fuck Jose, why don't you trust your squad? Maybe he has his reasons, I dunno, but I do remember that he was incredibly reluctant to rotate during his first spell as well. I mean Lampard played like 160 games in a row. Maybe he really really wanted to win this game and therefore risked with extreme fatigue, except it didn't pay off, the team looked slow and unfit.

So I guess this is the scenario: when we win, everyone's here talking about how great Mourinho is and how he's bossing England and the world and the Universe. When we draw or lose, the drama begins, people are unhappy and they start burning paper with Mou's face on it. That's it, there's no in between. No balance. This is SPARTA!

the best part is that there are people that always know what happened during half-time and what he said and didn't to the players. Incredible skills here at TC!

That said, Ramires in the RW will always be a mistake. The eventual good game he does that is the exception to make it a rule. But Mourinho insists on this mistake. I'm moving on from this too because I've done nothing but complain about Ramires in the last few weeks. Even I can't read my posts on this anymore.

It is really not that hard, if he insisted the team to go out there and attack we would at least get a shot on target, no? That or our team is not good enough to trouble City which we all know isn't true.

If he told the players to sit back, they sit back. He tell them to go out all attack, they do that. Judging by the commitment from the team in the 2nd half we know which 1 he chose, probably told them to keep it slow to avoid injuries.
