I can't remember us parking the bus like what West Ham did lastnight and never moved it!

Yes simetimes we played defensively but we always had our fair share of attack under Jose.

Under RDM against Barca we parked it a little but that was because we were one man down in Terry at the first half in New Camp!

Having said that i don't have a problem with teams doing that as i believe we will have better chances to dominate and score goals against these teams rather than a team which cuase us problem with their counter-attack! with West Ham ultra defense last night we could still find afew leaks and score goals but the key is you convert that few or make thing harder for yourself and we decided to waste them!!

Well under Jose:

Ins: Salah, Matic

Outs: Mata, Essien, KDB, Bertrand on loan so far.

Is this team better off now or will it be better next season ?

I sincerely hope so. However, if Jose does not get a striker who can pop in around 15 or more goals, the team will be close to trophies but no cigar at the end, I feel.

Jose talks about last night´s failure to divert attention from players, I read above.

Then, I would like to ask..does his talk about Citeh winning the PL helps Chelsea´s players ?

Really? It's designed to apply pressure to City and take the pressure off of our own players. Do you honestly think he tells the players that they're not good enough to win the title in the privacy of the training ground?

That is true but think by now, people have wised up to his usual tricks and I don't think it has stopped people from talking about our failure to convert chances yesterday; the striker situation and others.

glad it was not just me who tought that....but the striker situation did come up :( ....it was that obvious

so that there is no pressure or "seems " like there is none .... but we all know he has an eye on the trophy... infact an eye on all the trophies and thats the kinda guy he is.... :)

Are you so backward that you think the players do not read the papers ?

The players understand exactly what he's doing. The members of this forum seem to know exactly what he's doing. The only person who doesn't is you apparently.

Or to put it in a way you might understand....

I read here that some members don't not understanding what Jose is saying to the Citehs. But the Chelsea player noes what trick he is pulling and will listen in the privates to his words.

No we did it in both legs against Barca and in the final against Bayern. We definitely 'parked the bus', i still remember Drogba playing as a LB  But we won and no one can take that away from us. So when i see Chelsea fans on twitter and Facebook slate West Ham for 'parking the bus' i just laugh because when we did it they hailed our performance as 'heroic'.

It's our own fault we couldn't get past them, West Ham wanted a point and they got it, fair play.

My definition of "parking the bus" is a little bit different than yours!

How can West Ham 11 man defending in their own half with 1 shot and to threat be compared with us defending and countering on the break in semi final of UCL and winning the game home and drawing with a man off away?!

No way that's a bus! if it was the West was "Dump Truck"!!!

BTW i said i have no problem with this kind of approach as i believe it gives better chance of dominance! even though we had our share of good chances to wrap up the game but couldn't take'em so if any one's to blame it definitely us!

Sam is a fat cunt and i dislike him very much but to be honest his reaction is funny. It's like he won the Champions league lol. His team is still in relegation battle and he is still in danger to get sacked.

media focusing on José's "whining". in fact he said he respects the way West Ham players were fighting to keep the clean sheet and also said he doesn't want to criticize referees for single situations but he didn't like the fact that the referee only gave 4 added minutes because West Ham were playing time throughout the second half in particular. this is a "wrong signal" from the ref, but after all he did let the game go for like 96 minutes so he kinda fixed his mistake.
