Sacking a manager who won you the league 3 league games ago is stupid. Whether he is Benitez or Mourinho.Perhaps you have a point, but football is dynamic. I have to remember you that PL is not a one month tournament like World Cup. The team won PL last season because of performance in the first half of the season. The team was in decline for the second half of the season. Arsenal scored more points and Manchester United scored almost the same amount of points as Chelsea.Perhaps its just me, but last season was one of the worst in PL in terms of quality of football. English clubs performance in Europe speaks loud. Arsenal, City and United were all strugling for different reasons, they were never consistent enough. The team only won 2 games out of 6 against top 4 teams. Years ago a team with such a record against top sides would never win the PL. Affraid of parking the bus ? Isn't that what we did in the second half ? Offensive football ? Didn't we concede two goals ? Stop hating on him, we need reinforcements, he knows it, it's up to him and the board, we don't know who doesn't want to make the deals go through, we were champions 3 months ago, we didn't suddenly lose all our strengths, and we were playing the joint title favourites away, so calma. Mourinho's tactical ability is vastly overrated, as much as the clueless, lazy english press mythologize it. Park the bus and hope for a goal on a counter attack or a set-piece. If the opposition press high, man mark tightly and are very physical with us, we crumble like a park of cards. Pellegrini figured him out. They've been by far the better team in virtually every match between us since that 1-0 win.
