looking at the more important part of the PC, who do we have planned?

jose said we did not buy a striker 2 years ago cos we knew costa was coming and his price was fixed etc etc... so is there a plan for the right wing and CM too?

i honestly think for CMs, we might look internally (pasalic or mvg). i have no idea about RW though.

also, i was never a fan of getting stones for 34mil, but if that is what it takes to end the CB talks for years and to focus on real areas of improvement in coming years, then so be it!!!

Apparently, Dr Carneiro hasn't been back at Chelsea since Mourinho called her a "filha de puta" (son of a bitch, or more literally, daughter of a bitch) in front of 41,000 people. Fearn was present at the meeting, but she wasn't. I won't be surprised if she now resigns and sues the club for constructive dismissal. If this happens, I don't see how Mourinho can keep his job.

I was planning on writing a pretty lengthy comment on Dr Mourinho's bizarre (but predictable) press conference today, his refusal to apologize and his threats to walk out, and what this means for the future of the club, but I'll save it for tomorrow. The fact that the club is empowering this egomaniac by not forcing him to apologize to both Fearn and Carniero, shows an incredible shortsightedness and an unwillingness to learn from Mourinho's chequered history.

No he didn't call Eva anything. He vented frustration using a well known expression. It was not aimed at anyone in particular. The pair of medics were, rightly or wrongly, the immediate cause of that frustration but it just exploded out. It had no specific target. It's an odds on bet that Jose said the same thing the last time he stubbed his toe.

Glad your acid levels were driven up by the manager's press conference. You deserve it.

And why are you going to wait until tomorrow to expound further? Hoping we'll loose perhaps? I hope that's not the case. I hope you can honestly say that you are not wanting to see Chelsea beaten, and that, at worst, you are simply fearing/anticipating that it might happen. I have my doubts however about just exactly what it is you do wish. Doubts which are entirely reasonable given the line you take so persistently.

Constructive as to whose opinion? What you are trying to do here is exactly you were accusing JM of doing to Eva. You are trying to use position as moderator to shut me up and intimidate me, so I will not express my opinion. Your actions here is no different from the person you are castigating. As you said, Mourinho left for different reasons his past clubs. What will happen with Mourinho before 2019 is the same that happened in 2007 with Chelsea and Madrid in 2013: "he wont have the conditions of staying".

Mourinho actually creates bad conditions for himself as soon as the results aren't goof enough. He started to lose his Chelsea job back in 2007 when things were bad in the middle of 06/07 season and he blamed the lack of activity in winter market for losing the PL for United. His years in Spain were not exaclty a success. Someone would say he won La Liga. Bernd Schuster also won La Liga with Madrid in past 10 years, and lets be honest, winning La Liga with Madrid is far from a huge achievement, everybody knows Mourinho was hired to win UCL, and left the club giving himself praise for winning Copa Del Rey.

Mourinho is easily the best manager in the world to take a group of good individuals and build a winning team as soon as possible. I'm not sure about his success as a long term manager, when is requires to build a team from nowhere. The defense situation is pretty much what Mourinho is about. 2013/14 season, Luiz and Ashley Cole strugling, Azpi, Cahill, Terry, Ivanovic played together a couple of games and the team conceded few goals. That back four remained the main defense for the rest of the season. That was supposed to be a quick fix for a team that lacked "proper Mouinho's players".

Ivanovic played for the first as a RB for Chelsea in the classic 3-1 win at Anfield, first leg in 08/09 UCL quarters. Hiddink was the manager and Ivanovic still was used in that position in some games for the rest of the season. 09/10 season under Ancelotti, Ivanovic was used as RB for many games, but he was never the undisputed one in that position. Bonsingwa and even Paulpo Ferreira played some games in that position when required.

Between 2011 and 2013 Ivanovic played most of his games as a CB, but Mourinho decided Ivanovic was his legendary RB. It seems we don't need any other player in that position, since he is the man. Now we are starting 2015/16 season, and Ivanovic is our only opition as a RB, and thats unbelieveable.

Azpilicueta is a fucking RB. After 2013 he became the udisputed LB. Cahill is not world class, Terry is in decline. Mourinho has stability, and he is the one who asks for players and the team lacks depth, specially in defensive terms.

Mourinho never accepts defeats very well. If the team don't win any big trophies this season, Mourinho will start 16/17 season under huge pressure from press and from himself, then another trophyless season, he will leave, theres no doubt about it. Mourinho won't stay as Chelsea manager with no trophies.

Winning the league against Barcelona under Guardiola is a huge achievement!

Beating Barcelona in their own backyard to the title, scoring the most goals in history, getting the most points....simply "La Liga de los Récords"!

Real Madrid just won 2 league titles in the last seven years; Ancelotti couldn't get the job done, Pellegrini failed too....

Winning the domestic competition is for a lot of people the most important thing, it's the best benchmark how the team performs throughout the season!

Moreover the progress in the Champions-League is huge, always getting to the semis, before that they crashed out in the round of sixteen,

six times, that's unacceptable!

Mourinho wants to win everything, yeah, he can't cope with a defeat very well, but that's how passionate he is about winning.

In 2013/2014 he won nothing, but a year later he won it with ease, he has stayed without trophies, paradox?

The phrase "one of us" isn't made up out of thin air, he is always defending the club and trying to the remove the pressure from the team.

Sometimes he puts pressure on some of the individuals to observe how they cope with pressure, if they want to bail out, they have to go!

In the long run he has got a band of blood brothers, that's very difficult to beat for any team in the world!

Maybe his last big defeats against Barcelona (5:0 and Dortmund 4:1) has made him more cautious, but otherwise he is still the same man.
