I don't mind how Mou sets up in big games.

The one thing i do mind is that it isn't working well anymore.

We are not creating enough opportunities to score.

Our counterattacking has been almost non existent since we don't really have the right kind of players for that anymore with the loss of Schurrle/Salah (only formation it might work with is Remy/Hazard/Willian/Ramires as the front 4)

And for some reason we are incapable to play it out from the back so what we end up with is a game were we are constantly defending/hoofing it up field when we win the ball back/loose posession and start over again.

Hence we are barely creating any scoring opportunities and are scraping results together mostly through a lot of luck (see QPR/Hull where we scored every single shot on target)

Kinda reminds me of City last season.

They play some amazing futbol first half of the season.

Everyone was scared to play them, and then started to faded second half.

City won a Carling Cup and the League while just making it to the last 16.

Kinda similar to us only difference we are ahead by 7 points.

Now this season instead of improving they regress horrible, especially the second half of the season.

We shall see what is our course next season.

My marks for Mourinho this season:

Results: 8.5/10 - We're almost definitely going to win the title, won the League Cup and got to the knockout stages of the CL.

Performance: 7/10 - Played incredible football for the first 4/5 months of the season but injuries, suspensions and a drop in form for key players made it harder to maintain.

Mind Games: 9/10 - Pellegrino has been his personal bitch all season, and Rodgers and LVG have wisely avoided messing with him.

Tactics: 8/10 - Made a few small mistakes against Bradford, PSG (both legs) and Spurs on NYD but other than that has been largely spot on.

Entertainment: 8.5/10 - I've been well and truly entertained by him this season. Watching him bang his head on the ground when Cuadrado missed was fantastic.

Signings: 10/10 - Costa, Fabregas, Drogba, Luis, Courtois (to an extent). Need I say more?

Finances: 10/10 - Balanced the books with sales of players for well above their values.

Overall: ~8.75/10. He's one of us, and he'll always be The Special One.

WTF is this.

We did play good football in the first 4 months, but it withered away since Swansea. In fact, our amazing form got wiped out by City after Spuds.

Relying on rare goalkeeping errors will always be LUCK. Do you know what "mistake" means?! Look it up in a dictionary. It wasn't supposed to happen, we were LUCKY Green made that mistake and scored from there.

How can Mourinho create a game plan that we should play slightly below average, then sniff out a big error from the opposition. You think De Gea or Ospina in our next two games will pull a Rob Green?

My argument isn't rubbish FULL STOP. However your blindness needs to stop, FULL STOP. Our performances are way beyond poor, and it's getting way too consistent.

I'm tired of this silly dumbass comment from idiots, "Chelsea isn't suited to meet your requirements" blah blah blah. These players are getting paid £200,000+ a week, and we are limping towards victory. I'm not saying Chelsea should play great football every game, but it's way too consistent now these poor performances. Go to each live match thread in the past like 10 games and you'll see how frustrated we are most parts.

Because of these terrible performances from Chelsea, I can't say we will smash United and Arsenal comfortably. Phillips from QPR had an amazing chance to make it 1-0, but because of his quality, Courtois was superior. Do that against a much better striker, unless we are lucky, we would have been 1-0 down.

We were 2 minutes away from meltdown in that match thread. Not because we would have drawn, it's because we way we had played. This QPR last minute victory is hiding the cracks.

This "mentality" you guys are speaking of, may work against small teams because of their mistakes but PSG put us in our place and I won't be surprised that in-form United and Arsenal puts us down too.

Remy and Costa's injury made the QPR game much more difficult I agree, but even though it seems I'm just talking about the QPR game I'm not. It's the past 10 games in all competitions. We needed to sell no matter what... but Mourinho is responsible for the choice of which players we should buy and which ones should leave... so yes Mourinho is responsible for the great improvement in this team with almost no net spending.

By the way in the end of this season Mourinho in 6 years won 3 times more Leagues than Chelsea won in the the other 7 years with Abramovich... and also more than Chelsea ever won in his history,

Maybe with another coach like the ones we had we could built something for the future... what an amazing future that was.... with Mourinho the future is today, tomorrow and in every single game.

By the way... when someone says that without Courtois we wouldn't be where we are, or without Hazard, or without luck, or without.... where would Man United be without De Gea in the first part of the season... or Tottenham without the goals in the last minute, or Arsenal without Alexis... or...

If we can do more than 90 points this season it will be the third time we do it in Abramovich era... do you know what were the other 2? You just have to see the players Mourtinho sold like Mata, Luiz and many others. Mourinho is the one saying who leaves and no big signing is done without Mourinho.

Emeraldo can have a big word in the Nathan's and those minor players, obviously in the big ones Mourinho is the one in charge. And even Zouma that naturally is not a Mourinho signing, if Mourinho didn't like him wouldn't be here.

Mourinho doesn't negotiate the fees, but obviously if CHelsea neds to sell 50M£ in players Mourinho is the one choosing the players... and if CHelsea has 100M to spend Mourinho is also the one with that says which targets we will buy. Unless Abromovich wants someone but in that moment we could see another problem like last time.

Emeraldo doesn't have much power, thank God because he created a mess (if he was the one in charge) before Mourinho was here.
