The Chels 2,502
I can't remember the last time we played good for 90 minutes... I think we've only played well for 90 minutes once this calendar year: Swansea away but they were without key players and repeatedly shot themselves in the foot. Before that it was probably West Ham on Boxing Day. MrBlueGuy, zolayes and Ainsley Harriott
The Skipper 20,609
Plenty of us have been calling for it all season: a back four of Azpi-Zouma-Terry-Luis. I wish Jose would stop being so stubborn and just give it a try because it will likely improve things both ways. We'll have the opposition penned into their half so much more through playing a higher line and having 3 mobile defenders (with 2 FBs both excellent at pressing), we will have natural width (and the subsequent overlaps and intricate play) as opposed to that from a centre back and a right-footed LB, and we will be able to deal with opposition counter attacks much more effectively without any walking liabilities in defence.Honestly, still waiting for the day this back 4 is given a regular go. Henrique 9,133
No, it just SEEMS I'm the one being rational. There's a reason he's the manager and we're all typing our thoughts on a website. I'm going to log out because a lot of members on here are clearly spoilt by success. Not sure you are being rational, since I dont remember a single post in 1054 pages of this topic saying Mourinho must sacked...actually you are the one distorting what people are saying. If you see Mourinho job since he returned to Chelsea as perfect and flawless, then you are far from rational. zolayes
The Chels 2,502
jan 17 we beat swans 5 0 but 4 0 at HT Ah, the old excuse of taking our foot off the gas in the second-half of matches if we had the lead as it would 'prevent burnout' later in this season. Doesn't look like that worked out very well! zolayes
Laylabelle 9,754
Top, 6 points ahead, game in hand. We all know Arsenal will implode when the going gets tough.they're usually gone by now except this time wins in a row.doesn't seem to be happening this season.still time but win Tues huge annoying boost.Loose however and that tends to be the start of it
MrBlueGuy 1,552
Arsenal will finish like 2nd or 3rd-probs like 5-8 points off top in the end and 'go again' next year then the cycle repeats. I am only worried about City because they have experience with these things while their rivals collapsed. Who knows God might reverse it this time with Gerrard scoring the winner in a few weeks and we lose ground to City. Anything can happen with the way we play. Spike 12,049
What attacking talent?Hazard is a genius so fair enough.Cesc is in a terrible form and only replacemnt if RAMBO.Willian is limited but should be given a try as a CAM, that's one place jose should be looking at.Oscar is a pile of shit who would seems unable to complete 2 5 yard passes in a row. His first touch is abysmal and for someone who is supposed to be the main linl up man in the team, he is just AWFUL.cuadrado- the jury is still outRemy - one of the most untapped of our attacking resources. Deserves a bloody chance even if its as a RW.So with our main and probbaly only real creative player hopelessly out of forn I don't expect goals and with our no.10 losinf balls every time he touches it, I don't expect control of the game. The other 19 teams in the league would love the players Chelsea has. Show some perspective, this team isn't QPR or Sunderland. What attacking talent would you have? Messi? Reus? Bale? Complete nonsense that the team's potential is waved away so quickly. The team was scoring much more at the start of the year there is no excuse for Mourinho or the players to have been performing so poorly. Fernando 6,743
Not really worried about the tittle. We are not that crappy to let it go now. I'm now looking forward to the summer to see what he does with some players. For example it's obvious by now that Oscar is not a player to count on for the future. 3 seasons in a role and enough trust on the manager. He's either a good sub now or best be sold. But we definitely need a replacement on him. Mourinho and the club has done great with Matic, Costa and Fabregas, but they also wasted money on unnecessary buys like Cuadrado, Felipe Luis and Willian. Rather spend more on better players then spend a little less on more players who are just average. Polo7 3,496
What annoys me is that people always think the grass is greener on the other side. Taking over a team in transition and making them play amazing football in a year is impossible. 2 seasons ago we were a mess, we have come a long way. Yes we are not playing well, we just need a bit of luck with referees and need our players to step up.Who could possibly do a better job than mourinho? Of which are available right now? Just show some faith people. It's not as easy as we make it out to be. BELIEVE!

Comparing those teams to ours solves no problem. How many of our attacking players would be startinf material is barca/bayern/RM. except for hazard, no one even comes close. Out of our 3 strikers costa may have a shot at RM, the remaining 3 AMs would not even make the bench. Thats the sorry state of affairs. Hell, they would not even make the bench at psg. Our attack is purely and completely cesc oriented. And that is a FACT. We have over relied on cesc and with him out of form, we are struggling to score. That is no nonsens but a FACT. Most of our recent goals and the most important ones have come thru set pieces and our defenders cos we have been so shocking from open play. We do have options like remy and cuadrado who should be used cos people like oscar just are not. zolayes and Reddish-Blue
