Popular Post! supporter 3,088 Posted February 3, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted February 3, 2015 Of all those players that appear in the starting eleven players sold by Mourinho in these two years, NONE OF THEM would play in our starting eleven. Perhaps only De Bruyne, the rest do not have level currently to play for Chelsea. With the rules of the Financial Fair Play is impossible to have a team with many backups, excepting for teams with a great history / own economic capacity as Bayern, Real Madrid or Manchester United.I think Jose is behaving like a perfect Manager. He is leading the team taking into account the rules of the Financial Fair Play, and at the same time creating a great team. That starting eleven of our sales only reflects the good work of Jose and club officials. We are slowly creating a great team.Regards. OhForAGreavsie 6,128
And how much money did this team go for?Taking the full figure reported for Bertrand (£10m) but the most conservative number now calculated for Luiz (£33m) looks to be around £150m. On the other hand, using the more aggressive figures from Transfermarkt.co.uk; plus including BA, PVA & Torres it comes to £185m!

Popular Post! kellzfresh 7,229 Posted February 4, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted February 4, 2015 Mendes: Only a god could have replaced Ferguson at Manchester United... but he's at Chelsea The 49-year-old feels that the Red Devils would be 12-15 points better off with the Scot still in charge while claiming Jose Mourinho will build a dynasty at Stamford BridgeSuper-agent Jorge Mendes believes only a god could have replaced Alex Ferguson as Manchester United manager - and Chelsea have one in Jose Mourinho. The Scot left Old Trafford in 2013 after winning 38 trophies in 27 years at the club, and both David Moyes and Louis van Gaal have struggled to replicate the form needed to be that successful in their short tenures with the Red Devils. And Mendes feels that if Ferguson were still in charge rather than Van Gaal, the 20-time English champions would be much better off in terms of their league position."[Ed Woodward] is the right guy to drive Manchester United to find a way to win important trophies," he told BBC Sport."But at the same time, he has just one problem - it's completely impossible to find someone like Sir Alex Ferguson because he's a god, he's a genius and to find a genius is very difficult."You have one in England - Jose Mourinho."Having Sir Alex Ferguson ensures at this moment you have 12 or 15 points more. He's finished his career, but he's someone that's the difference."As well as representing a large number of the world's top players, Mendes also acts as Mourinho's agent, and he revealed that the former Real Madrid boss intends to remain at Stamford Bridge for at least the next decade and become a Ferguson-like figure."Jose will stay for sure. He will be the Sir Alex Ferguson of Chelsea Football Club."He loves the supporters, he loves the city and I think he will stay there for more than 10 years." I wish they'd ask tactical questions or more daring ones instead of the same old dross. They probably don't bother because they won't get much out of Mou compared to say a Redknapp press conference where he would probably have revealed Tony Fernández's bank details if he was pushed hard enough. I agree that they'd get nothing from Jose before a game but I don't think he'd be as relcutant to discuss tactics when the game's done. He used to in Italy I believe but the journalists here ask such dull, repetitive questions. Tomo
We Hate Scouse 10,352
Why do they have to hold a press conference? It's not like the journalists ask any good questions. They have strict guidelines they have to follow. If they don't they get banned. If they get banned they'll most likely lose their jobs. I'm sure the journos would love to get a decent story Muzchap
