Stingray 9,441
What's going on here? Its quite baffling. I cant even find a gif for it, and that is saying something. It looks so random, why didnt we make a statement and hype some youngsters to boost their confidence. This is just the opposite signal. Pizy 18,918
Will never play a minute for us.If Terry is gone next season we'll bring in a top class replacement. Even if he stays I think we will. This kid won't get a sniff with JT, Zouma, Cahill, future new CB, and this Papy guy.Money lit on fire and blown away. Harsh but true. MetsajCFC 1,255
I don't understand the hate. What are your opinions based on? Bet you haven't seen the guy play even. At quoted price he is nothing near a risk. Rather an investment. If you haven't noticed Chelsea buys player not only for themselves but to send them to farm clubs, make profit and then buy the players we actually need, simple as that. And we've been BRILLIANT at that, keep up the good work board. The Skipper

MetsajCFC 1,255
I would love to know how we are making money out of Reading on this deal.Like I said, an investment. Like in any business it does involve risk, a risk we can take and can easily afford, but moreover time. We take the player, bring him into the spotlight, loan him out and if he does turn into something we'll easily collect profit from selling him. This isn't supposed to make us money by tomorrow. It's like real estate really, we rent some of the "properties" out, we sell some, doesn't mean we ever need to "live" in one of the "appartments". He is 23 .If was was 17 and had some potential perhaps it would make sense. . have you checked out his loan record . This is one of the dumbest deals we have done. Apart some of our sales. termninja 5,290
Shame on you all, you should at least say welcome to the club for a fellow Chelsea fan.I don't care about a few mills, if he's fails, not a big loss, if he turns out well, we found a jewel.Good luck son!And I really love when we sign a player who is a Chelsea fan :blue scalf: James, Unionjack and Rambo

Laylabelle 9,535
I welcome him and nice to see he's a Chelsea fan but rather see him actually get a chance to play for us rather then here there and everywhere as it tends to be with our loans.Considering our defence at the moment should've been given a chance.guess part of the deal but even so hard to see how play at top level if he aint
Popular Post! supporter 3,088 Posted September 1, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted September 1, 2015 I am delighted with the signings of young players, but we have to use them or we're wasting time. For me it's perfect. See our young players grow up to be football stars is one of the best things of football. I remember when Varane came to Real Madrid being a complete unknown child and Jose caused him to be one of the best centre-backs in the world.Something similar is happening with Zouma, who should be undisputed all season, starting every game. UNDISPUTED.This season we are in a difficult situation in Premier League. That is why Zouma, Baba, Papy, Oscar, Traore, Kenedy and especially Ruben Loftus-Cheek must have an important role in our starting eleven this season. Maybe it's the season of youth, and perhaps they should lead a generational change in our squad.I don't see any reason to not see Ruben Loftus-Cheek in our starting eleven, even in the next game against Everton.Kenedy had a spectacular performance against Crystal Palace on Saturday, especially being his first Premier League game.Zouma is our best centre-back now.Baba has to be a good player if we have paid 20.68 million pounds to sign him. YIvanovic is in a bad time.Oscar has performed well in pre-season and in the few minutes he has played this season.Papy is a mystery to me (I do not know him) but if we have signed for a reason and to do something. He has to have opportunities. It's great to sign young players, but they must play. It's time to rebuild our squad. Blue Armour, killer1257, Fernando and 2 others

Apart some of our sales. We are a football club, but football is a business, it's aim is to make money and promote a brand. The fact that we haven't heard of him doesn't mean he doesn't have any potential. 23 is still very young and as I said earlier the quoted price is pocket change for us, the chances of breaking even or making profit are far higher given the silly market nowadays. Can't please everyone I guess.EDIT: Welcome to the club Hector, all the best to you pHaRaOn and Fulham Broadway
