Why would we even consider to bring in B options like Llorente or Benteke when Michy is way better player with much more potential?

We should start talking about our first ST, a starter with 25-30 goals per season not some middle table players.

In the theoretical situation where our new £80m striker gets injured for months we'd just have Michy playing up top with no cover? We need 3 strikers in our squad for sure. No chance will that be Benteke because he'd be way too expensive and he's far too good still to be a bench warmer.

While I am not a fan of Benteke that much, it's risky to go into a season with 4 competitions with only 1 (potentially 2 if we buy someone) recognized strikers. Benteke or LLorente as plan C would be alright I feel.

How things have changed. Benteke is in a rut rn but honestly he’s a great 2nd choice striker, offers much more than Michy in his general play. Good buddies with Eden. Also, if he rediscovers his shooting boots, literally nothing Michy will have over him.

I like Benteke when he's on his game, but Vardy is definite better choice if CFC aren't going for A. Sanchez... or, we might consider grabbing BOTH Vardy and Sanchez right now considering our obvious lack of goalscoring, Morata aside.

Too bad we also need better players for CM and someone else for LWB. Too much to ask for January... probably not making top 4 this year.

Morata is very good at holding up the ball and link up play. I think Vardy would be a great option alongisde if we decide to go 352 but with Hazard and Pedro both capable of playing second striker I think they are both better We need some short term option, too bad we missed out on Llorente. 

Don't recall Abraham, his loan to Swansea is one of the best things that happened to our youngsters in last few years  I would only recall Abraham if Michy is sold and Tammy is #2 striker .. otherwise it doesn't make sense
