Also care to explain why it is not a surprise? I voted Luis btw. But I also did not think Hazard had a shit game, so I can understand some voted for him. Delivered some nice key passes too (the one on Moses e.g.) and had good link-up play. But what really stood out was his defensive work. That was really good today and that's what most of you drool on anyway . However, if you play Hazard, Mata, Oscar, you need to press high up the pitch, so that they should not always track back so much. The cohesion needed to do that in this team sucks. With Lampard and Ramires behind them, I think it will never work.

One player i feel bad for was Marko Marin.

Coming for just a few minutes and it was like the other players didn't want to give him the ball.

fully expect to get our arses handed to us by Leeds on Wednesday night. The flight back to London is not due to land until Tuesday afternoon local time according to BBC Sport, virtually the whole squad has travelled so they will all have jet lag and 24 hours to recover before playing the scum.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry , It was an pathetic performance , Wtf were the rest of our 10 players doing ? you can keep crying about Torres missed that though their were a slight pause , he didnt knew what happened than when he poked his toe , Cassio was already in the position to save it . And he constantly made runs but only few were picked , he was in better clear positions , no body fucking passed a through ball . You can watch the match again , what's the point of running behind the defender ? when you aren't getting the ball.

And i don't know why our players gets selfish when they are near the net , Moses could have passed to an open player , hazard had a chance to pass one too and Mata in the 93 minute or something , could have passed to someone else but tried a shot from an impossible angle and than everyone saw what happened .

Rafa made the right choice playing Lampard , If he would have benched Frank today , their would have been tons of articles in the internet , speculating on a rift between Rafa and Lampard etc and when the fans already dont like you much , benching their most favorite player isn't a wise decision.

And it's funny how Torres gets the bashing every match whether we win or lose , IMO Mata was fucking pathetic , and he's always has been in our big matches . We have the best creative midfield trio in the whole premier league , fucking makes me laugh everytime

Cole has been great this season so far. Today he was shit unfortunately. I agree though Ivanovic isnt a great RB, Azpi does that better. Until Terry comes back Id like to see Ivanovic and Luiz/Cahil at CB.

Mata didn't play well today for sure, but he has on many occasions saved our asses, i.e. vs tottenham when he pretty much single handedly won the game for us. Lampard provided him with a few through balls for him to latch onto. If you read my other posts i said how pretty much everyone, david luiz being the main exception played poorly... But when it comes down to it no matter how poor we played with 2 mins left, your striker has to score that. I am not buying any argument like torres thought he was offside the goalkeeper was ready for it etc etc. You have to score there. Can you imagine hernandez missing that with united 1-0 down? Can you image dzecko doing the same? Would defoe? Would podolski? Would berbatov? Would demba? I can go on if you want but the answer is no.... They simply 1 touch control it and slot it calmly in the corner. Then we have the initative and we are in extra time.
