Scored a goal, looks happy, gave Mata the assist

Yes he got lucky with the deflection but seriously how many times have we seen that same shot over the past year and it just get blocked or go out for a corner? Make your own luck - nobody complained in 04/05 05/06 when Lampard scored about a million deflected goals. Don't moan for the sake of moaning.

So you'd rather have a player continue in bad form?

Okay so where did i say that eh?, obviously i never meant that stop taking me for an idiot.

It's clear that Torres wont carry on his this scoring form, however I'm glad for the goals he's been scoring, but it wont benefit the longterm as we will keep him instead of moving on, it will also mean we wont go for a replacement which could turn out to be a big blow.

there is no reason to say that he still won't be sold or another high profile striker to be brought in.. you are looking at the glass half empty teams pay big money for in form strikers who are scoring in world football.. this could also be a blessing with his fee for transfer increasing.. just a thought

People saying he got lucky are ignoring the fact that he took a chance.

Against Sunderland, he took a chance and made a run into the area.

Against Nordsjaelland he took a chance for his second and made a front post run.

Scoring goals is great, but the fact that he's taking a chance and making runs or having a shot is the most important thing. Before he was ponderous and scared. I'm not saying 'he's back' but he's making some of the right noises.

My thoughts exactly. Get him in form and scoring. Then sell him for a huge fee. Buy a great new striker!

Financial fair play rescue mission activated!

Hehe :-)
