That's just wrong. Torres was average for more than a year before joining Chelsea, but we all thought it was because he wasn't interested in playing for Liverpool anymore and wanted to move to a bigger club. Turns out this wasn't the case and he had simply become a rather shit player after having a couple of broken seasons where he was injured a lot. Falcao is entirely different. He has been on fire for years now and during that time has proved his worth for two clubs in different countries.

We as Chelsea fans shouldn't be expected to defend Fernando Torres anymore. We have been behind him from the very minute he signed that contract and I am so very proud of our supporters, I really am. What makes me love this football club is mainly our support and our swag. Chelsea for life!

The problem with Torres is that he is simply not good enough to play for a club like Chelsea anymore. A change of scenery could do him good and who knows, maybe he would start scoring goals once again if he moved to a slightly smaller club where the pressure isn't as bad and that is important because Torres seems to be very a weak player mentally.

Only problem is finding a club willing to take him? Atletico is probably the only one that comes to mind and while a Falcao <-> Torres + money swap sounds very good on paper, that kind of deals don't usually happen in real life. I can see Milan or some of the other Italian clubs trying to get him on loan but why on earth would we agree to that?

Well, my friends, were there aliens playing behind Didier Drogba when he was here? No, there were no aliens. I don't care if Didier is another type of player. The fact is that he was our CF and he was scoring goals without having anyone else but Lampard, Malouda, Kalou, Essien or Meireles behind. Drogba got the ball himself many many times too.

I don't get the point of this topic by the way. Since he's at Chelsea he's getting an weird, inconsisistent, crap... (call that whatever you want) service. He tried to adapt his game to it by playing lay backs on the width, being unselfish to create chances... Pretending everything is perfect behind him (I guess that's the point of people not even mentionning how horrendous is the attacking animation) is just fucking hypocritical.

That doesn't prevent me to criticize him with his choices on the ball when he's in form, when he tries something too complicated , when he tries to force that choice. He's not above the team.

I'm fed up of all those superficial criticisms ; just now and after one and a half year people, blogs, pundits etc... start to notice how useless are Mata, Sturridge defensively. Whereas it has been one of the main problem on this same length of time (and not Mikel, Torres, Lampard or whoever...)

You didnt read the topic, i stated clearly the problems torres has. I play soccer too so i watch torres and i know how difficult it is to understand him.

If you dont know by now that torres plays inconsistently and an unpredictable way for his own teammates to understand, then you may have not been watching chelsea matches.

Even kalou scored goals when he was a striker for chelsea. Torres is a smaller striker trying to play like a big striker, he cant just be loosing the ball stupidly. That is my main issue with him, i dont know if he forgets he has teammates sometimes.

He must make runs behind the defence or pass and run for a one-two to score. Simple as that.

Clearly he is not, for example last nite he took a shot from a ridiculas angle and put in the side net, while torres stood unmarked in the box screaming for the ball for a tap, which would of put us 3-1 up and i'd say safe to see it out. It's actually quite funny, the excuse for never critisising Torres by some is his work ethic but Kalou works harder than most footballers on the planet yet that was never enough for us.

Kalou was different, people got in his back because he would constantly get in good positions and mess things up! he was a good player but very frustrating! also part of the reason why Torres gets great support is because us fans are also trying to boost his confidence! so stop trying to jump on the Torres only gets support because of his work rate bandwagon!

Did ya bother reading at all?, their fantastic players that dont play well together (yet?), the midfield in a shambles no one knows what to do, Torres never gets passed to and therefore has to try and make goals rather then score them, this is the midfield's fault not his, put anyone in his place and they wont score often, he scored a few already btw he dosent have to score every single game, once every 2-3 matches is more then enough, if he gets assist's which is often does, this still dosent change the fact that he is never given the ball he wants, Hazard and him finaly started to gel at newcastle which was good but i havent seen it since.
