Blue Armour 4,448
Bypassing all the drama...What does this actually mean for the club right now? This is a crucial juncture in the season, and definitely not a good time to lose your head coach. What's going to happen to the setup of the team..will Torres automatically be restored to the starting eleven (no point in asking I guess)And also,..how exactly can the team or the manager himself get motivated for success when this is clearly a stop-gap measure (like every other appointment)...it worked for Guus and RDM but that was much later on in the season when there were trophies in view. TacticalBlues 2,817
I just want to get this season done ( I reckon he'll do alright but not necessarily better than Di Matteo would of) and am both hoping and praying we get this guy below to take us forward: The crucial word being forward. Many were still debating that question, and with the 2 year deal in place there was only going to be one answer. These circumstances and the earliness of the parting do make it a very hard and bitter pill to swallow nonetheless. In the future though Pep can possibly get us playing that tika-taka style Abramovich yearns and will instantly command the respect of the dressing room. The prospect of Pep nurturing our trio is very tantalising.

Azpinator 2,325
I care about our young talented players and I don't want them to hate playing for Chelsea, therefore I hope things work out just fine for the rest of this season.
BlueJewel 56
Fuck Pep, Fuck Benitez, I'm gutted that Di Matteo is gone but as a Chelsea fan I'm used to that now. Anyway I hope the hopelessly incompetent Rafa finishes at least in fourth place and qualify us for the Champions league next season. But I can see him getting sacked after a round of poor results trying to get the best out of our 50 million pound striker. Pep comes in and does an even worse job than Scolari. I hope I'm wrong and Chelsea wins a shit load of trophies at the end of the season.
diskoviolente 425
of the lot of things that worries me the most is what rafa will do with mata-hazard-oscar. i hope he won´t just stick them on the wing and leave one of them out and play a very conservative style and put all the attention on torres.this is a man that wrecked one of the solidest champions league winning sides.i am really, really, really worried and angry at the same time. i have to say that i never felt like this towards the board and roman. villas-boas sacking i could sort of see but roberto´s is just beyond me. i simpley refuse to understand what happened in six months after the CL win. i am still so disgusted what they´ve done to robbie. maybe we led one player to many go (mereiles in my opinion) but other than that ? what happened to us ? it feels like a blizzard in the face.i won´t even be surprised if this is a major turning point. i think axing dimatteo was one too many. Tomo 21,751
Didn't Mourinho say he would prefer to manage Liverpool instead of Chelsea back in 2004 for a similar reason? If Rafa delivers the good's, that quote will be forgotten.
BlueLyon 9,359
Roman, I lost big respect towards you, from 'cool' owner, you showed this spoiled face and looking on our club as a toy (or just very impatient).Rafa should not come here, but I will still support him now, as he is part of this team. He could strenghten our lineup, but he loves that all actions go through one player (Alonso) and we dont have such player now. I hope we get good results, cuz this days are realy depressing. Other fans are extremely optimistic about Chelsea now, and also afraid...same as was with Rdm when he replaced Avb. But seriously, this is JOKE. We play bad, we sack manager every year, we are on way not to pass group stage; first CL winners to play in europa leage, our fans are pissing on OUR own players, other fans are laughing at us, team has no cause and will to do sth, Chelsea is loosing respect every day. Our owner is spoiled and dont give shi* bout fans and club reputation. Board is leaded by bunch of no-brainers. So dissapointed with all situation. I guess we will never learn. All because of coulple of bad games. Because there is no end product. Because there is no striker. No striker, no goals. No goals, no wins. No wins, manager sacked. Circle repeats...

KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
I guess I'm one of the few who are not too phased with this whole thing. I don't care what other people think of our club. RDM wasn't the man for us. He was clearly going to be sacked anyways and yes while it was too soon, its perhaps better to just accelerate the process before it dragged on (ala AVB) and destroyed our season again.
