Don't think it's about whether we turn it down but rather if Oscar would agree to go there. I think not! He's far too good and far too young to essentially retire.

Chinese side #Shanghai SIPG have launched an astronomical offer to take Oscar away from Chelsea. (ESPN Brazil) #CFC

Oscar set for Chelsea exit as Andre Villas-Boas 'launches £60m bid' to take Brazilian to Chinese Super League. #CFC #Shanghai (Mirror)

It is understood Oscar, in line for a significant wage rise, is keen on a move to China and Chelsea won't stand in his way. #CFC (Mirror)

Bye!

Chelsea will obviously never turn down a bid that size for what is basically a fourth choice winger. One might wonder if Oscar will reject a move to China, but if they are willing to overpay by that much, I am certain that they will drown him in cash to such a degree that he is willing to swallow his pride (and career).

And you know. I was wondering. Why the fuck is the Oscar thread showing as "hot!".

Thank you for all you've done Oscar, but he's CLEARLY not progressed/taken that next leap, and has no future at the club.

This is incredible news.

Ivanovic Next!

Absolutely amazing if he goes for that kind of money.

Not really a place for him in the currently preferred 3-4-3 cause he's too weak to play in midfield and not that well suited for the winger positions either (and is worse than Hazard, Willian and Pedro anyways). Wouldn't say no to £25M, let alone £60M.

Christmas has come early for the club if this is true.

I miss Rmpr, he would've put his life, his family, his entire existence on the line betting that Oscar > Coutinho.

Have to admit I don't have a high opinion of Rmpr's judgement of a player. When I told him that, based on what I'd seen of Pato during his time in Europe, I felt he had nothing to offer at Chelsea, Rmpr told me that he had been watching the duck regularly and that he was fed up with people like me who didn't know what they were talking about. Oh well.
