Popular Post! meetdoscar 335 Posted April 3, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted April 3, 2014 After oscar was taken off thiago motta punished us with his distribution with no one pressing him and watching his replacement lampard being skinned by postore for the goal was painful. For some reason jose feels oscar is not strong for the 90 minutes when he played more number of matches over 90 minutes last season, plus he has more football brain than half the chelsea attack and did the only relevant thing chelsea did in attack at PSG, winning the spot kick.It may or may not be relevant to say most times when jose takes oscar off we usually become more awful and we also concede. It wouldn't be a bother if it had the relevant/desired effect but it almost always doesn't, for the introduction of torres and lampard made us worse and ramires should have been taken off early and why mouirinho never used the last sub to kill time when there was a throwing(I think) just before their 3rd goal is baffling, mikel in the 93rd minute would have been awesome and 1-2 it would have ended. We have no chance if samuel eto'o does not recover, Period. Barbara, The only place to be, The Skipper and 3 others

bethos1 802
He has got to start stepping it up, his passing isn't good at the moment. I believe in him but the way he has been playing is very bad imo. Please get your shit together.
yuvala 2,167
Why is everyone so afraid to say that Oscar is pretty much mediocre this season? Some of u really defend him too much. Vybz Kartel and lionsden

Players are not judged at 22 that is why we still have hope in lukaku, cuortois, and even hazard.
LAM09 7,048
I am not sure what to think about him. He has been up and down this season, but he needs to nail down a position. He isn't creating enough as our AM ATM. He has played as CM, but not for a while. He needs to step up soon!

So because Oscar is 22 and will probably improve a lot in the future, we can't say that THIS SEASON he was mediocre? And what does Torres has to do with this? he's obviously not an example of a striker at his peak..Lukaku, Courtois and Hazard have done extremely well so again, I dont really see your point. BlueLyon 9,359
Being a #10 isnt just about stats. Its about how certain player pushes team forward, creates width, makes chances and dictates tempo. Apart from hard work, Oscar isnt doing anything a #10 would do. While he tracks and press high, he does nothing in final third. He scored few goals, but I would prefer him set up those goals for others, as what #10 should do. He has to step the shit up next season, he is young enough, plays in good team and has good manager. If he wont do it, he needs to be sold. I simply dont want #10 who is nothing more but CM with limited passing. Again, he can improve and I hope he will. The more Im worried is that season passed almost and Oscar is the almost same player he was last year. The only difference is better team around him and better manager. He made good start this season, but apart from that, he realy hasnt improved as #10 one bit. It will be a short reading though since I don't remember writing anything on how "Chelsea is on a different level".I maintain my opinion that Chelsea is better than PSG, even though we lost. Every team loses sometimes.
