BlueSanti 290
Merged the threads and renamed it.I expect him to bench Modric and try playing Adebayor on the right wing I really do hope he fails there. Good lad with great ideas but he is against Chelsea now. They do not deserve such a nice thread name !
Melanicus 5,208
What do Spurs' fans think about it? Is there any online forum?
Blue Armour 4,439
Will they though? I think he's going to become the darling underdog because he's with everyone's favorite Tottenham now.Yeah, he's the new "Brian Clough"...they're probably just upset that we didn't exactly do a "Leeds"
LDN Blue 7,903
Do Tottenham actually have money to spend? Like big money?

DDA 9,938
Can't really call him a traitor. He was sacked. He didn't leave of his own volition.I knew somebody would say that and yes you are right to point that out but to me once you have put that Chelsea badge on you cannot by any means possible wear a scummy Yid wank rag! Blue-in-me-Veins 4,067
i gota say i admire AVB and his plan and overall philosphy of playing the game. sucks he is in EPL, but hope best for him without treaading on our Shoes. if givin funds to buy the young striving plaers he targets might just fit with levy and their board. AVB doesnt strike me as one to buy 30mills but 15-20mills bags of potential. if he came to chelsea any other time would have been hit, and players reallly turned on him. AVB back for revenge? hahaha
Kez 2,727
Hopefully he's stubborn enough to have not learnt from all the mistakes he made at Chelsea & fails at Spurs. I think he's again bitten off more than he can chew, returning to the premiership so soon, the media will be all over him as soon as results are going bad.Still like the guy & he can't be called a traitor after the way he was treated here. I hope he fucks spurs up!
Slam Dunk 1,442
Some choice quotes from the Spurs forum:Welcome to Spurs AVB. He managed to build a team capable of winning the fa cup and champions league double last season so I cant wait to see what he does for us.He must have built it while Mourinho was still his boss.Announcement.... HEAD COACH NOT MANAGER!!!All I know is that it will feel damn good if AVB brings the success he had at Porto to us.Suppose they have a chance of winning the Europa League - Think the Portuguese league is a little out of the question, although probably more likely than the EPL.Levy really is a class act.Welcome to the greatest club in the World AVB.but I expect quick results and those that surpass the benchmark set over the past 3-4 years.Sturridge 12mAnd wouldn't it be great to stick it to Chelsea if we won the league under him^This ones my favourite. Jase 43,479
They were laughing at us and saying how shit AVB was last season and now they're worshipping him like he's some sort of savior sent from heaven or something. Typical.
Justin_3d 1,140
Good quotes. But from AVB, I still remember this quote, and it was quite epic!“Here we have given everyone a slap in the face.“It is unfortunate for you guys in the media because you have to report on a brilliant win for Chelsea and we qualify first in the group. It is difficult for everybody and today this is difficult for you."
Amblève. 4,995
And wouldn't it be great to stick it to Chelsea if we won the league under himWell, as we're not playing in the EL I don't see how that will work out
