I don't care about Ronaldo, Bale , Messi or any big name let alone Hazard who is just in the beginning of the way with a lot to prove. Jose is the boss he calls the shots you follow orders no matter what. Some times we play attacking football some time we park the bus and play ultra-defensive you have to do the job given to you. What a bitter end of season (not even bittersweet, plain bitter instead).

Instead of feeling proud - even if disappointed by the way things panned out in the EPL losses and the UCL elimination - we're taking sides between our most important player (at least in theory) and our manager.

I read somewhere the whole interview translated (many, many, many pages back in this thread there's the entire thing in French in video and printed) and at least the version I read Eden implied something about playing alone - which is ALWAYS a bad statement to do because I think it's very disregarding towards your teammates. I don't think it was a jab at Mourinho's tactics, but I think it's unfair to the rest of the team - IF that was the original statement at all, my French is too rusty for me to try to figure it out myself).

While I don't appreciate Mourinho for pointing out Eden made a mistake because seems like he's showcasing him alone (and we had a lot of problems that match), I won't make a fuzz about it. The same way I didn't about the 'my wife' comments, or the 'Chelsea don't play football - which should be translated with the ball' things. The media is trying to make a circus out of it and it's sad our own fans are buying it.

Hazard made a few mistakes in the match, so did many others, including in the goals. I do think the first Atletico goal was a capital one and why we lost, I do think Schurrle or Willian would have done better if they were at Hazard's position because they've been doing exactly that in the last few matches, including against Liverpool and the first leg in Madrid. So the kid made a mistake. Get over it, Terry also made one in the PSG first leg, so did Cech, Luiz, etc... Mistakes are part of football and we don't need to crucify the boy and I don't think Mourinho was crucifying him either. I do think though he could have handled it better. Mourinho bit the bait the media planted to him. They want to make a mess in out dressing room and I do hope Mourinho learned from the Spanish media gate. While the journos there are disgusting, Mourinho isn't a saint himself and although the main reason things got out of hand in Madrid was because of player power, he handled the media poorly.

So at the end of the day we lost a UCL SF in a frustrating way. We were outplayed, we had a shot when it was 1x0 for us, but we weren't good enough in the end. It's time to regroup and get over, but instead the media - at least in this forum and I hope that's not how it is inside the club - is successful in creating an unnecessary crisis. 30 teams were eliminated in the UCL. We were the last ones. It happens. Next year I have no doubts we'll be fighting for it again. No need to point fingers to our manager - who made mistakes; or to any of our players - who also made mistakes, when in the end collectively we just weren't good enough.

A bad atmosphere only makes this elimination worse than it really is and creates a lot of unnecessary issues.

On a football pitch the manager says the first and the last thing. he is the boss. he instruct the orders, you as a player follow his instructions that's why there is a manager in every football club. It's dosn't matter if you're the most expensive player on the planet or not you play by the rules given to you.

You didn't see that in our game with them because we hardly ever attacked them. Otherwise Atletico is a very similar team in regard to us, in that they defend as a unit.

And you got my point wrong. I said that he should've atleast defended well if he didn't attack well. I only said that because he didn't do anything of significance in attack. He's a winger, and if he were doing that well enough I wouldn't blame him. But not doing Either? no, I'm not cool with that.

That's nice. Happy to have you on board, then. But you really should be more positive towards the people that stay. Even if they're not perfect, they're still a part of Chelsea FC and that's why we love them.

Mourinho is doing the same thing he did at Madrid. Causing division between the fans and the players. Between Madridistas and "Mourinhistas". I hope some of the fans are now starting to see through it.

I've already posted the vines of goals 1 and goals 3 that show Cole and Azpilicueta desperately out of position, both are in the box instead of maintaining their fullback position, leaving Hazard exposed. Go watch the replays again. This is not a Hazard issue, but a Mourinho ego issue.

Watching Hazard this season, I believe he has done more than his fair share of defensive work, certainly more than other top wingers do for their teams. I've seen him track back like an animal at times and cover Azpilicueta on many many occasions, and if we're honest with ourselves, we would all agree on that too. That's what amazes me about Mourinho's comments.

He's basically been our most consistent attacking player and the only one in the front 4 who creates something in the away games, when the new guys like Schurrle, Willian and even Oscar struggle with the extra physicality "allowed" by the refs. We are a team of individuals who play disjointed, ugly football and rely (over rely) on Hazard to bail us out. (Again, eerily similar to his Madrid times with Ronaldo taking the place of Hazard and to his last days at Chelsea, with Drogba taking the place of Hazard as THE guy who bails out the team of individuals). Luckily for us, we don't have that many big ego's in the dressing room any longer so the situation is unlikely to spill over quickly this time.

Back to Hazard. To say he hasn't given 100% for the team is a bold faced lie and Mourinho's said it not because of how he feels, but to deflect criticism from himself and on to anything else, even his own team. He has already done it on many occasions this season. To Torres, Ba, Eto'o, Schurrrle, Hazard and the entire team ("I made eleven mistakes", "my team lack balls") No other manager does shit like this. If Mourinho continues down this path, it's only a matter of time before he loses the dressing room.

I'm really happy that he is "not ready to sacrifice himself for Chelsea", because when Mourinho is saying that he is basically saying the belgian is not ready yet to sacrifice his attacking instincts to play as a second full back, just like Willian did in the in the first leg against Atlético.

when u play in a system, u have to do your job like any other guy. does not matter if u r eden hazard, CR, ribery or messi. similarly it does not matter if u r hazard, willian, schurrle or salah, or even our POTY twice in a row JUAN MATA, u play the way the team is set up to play, or u can simply FUCK OFF. this is chelsea fc, not hazard FC where hazard gets treated like a different entity. what do people want us to do? we should forego our system and simply play in a way that suits hazard rather than the team??!!!!! people should really ask themselves if they even support the club if they are actually defending hazard here.

The type of football we play this season is not really suited for players like Hazard and Mata, one of them is gone and the other one seems abit frustrated, hence his comments after the atletico game.

Its well known that Roman wanted to change our type of football a few years back and therefore bought players like Hazard but with the return of Mourinho that has clearly changed.
