Easy to forget how good he is. This reminded me why I fell so hard for him.

Otherworldly awareness. Ability to make decisions in a fraction of a second. And execute his ideas.

I seriously need you get back to business, Eden. Guus, the man with the magic touch, please make it happen.

And I don't to see him in another kit. Just look at that beautiful blue on him.

In those 20 minutes he played, he showed WHY I dont think he'll ever become the best player in the world.

He had two HALF CHANCES. Chances where, if he used his ability, pace and energy because he just came on.. He could've sealed the game for us and bagged his first goal this season. But as we have seen time and time again, he shies away from responsibility. Real lack of killer instinct.

And what i dislike the most about the two occasions where he passed sideways to his teammate instead of going alone (which he is more than capable of), was his reaction when they made a mess of the chance. There was none, he just turned around and walked back without any care in the world. It's beginning to look like he doesn't care.. or doesn't care enough. Idk about you but if I hadnt scored since May, and I gave up a good opportunity to my teammate to put away a chance I COULD HAVE taken, I'd be pissed... So idk.

I really don't know with Eden Hazard any more. It's like I care because I love the guy and he has ridiculous amounts of potential which I'm afraid might go unfulfilled but at the same time, I don't care as long as I get to enjoy watching him week in week out cuz he's a beautiful footballer. (Not gonna lie tho, as much as I enjoy watching him play.. when he does shit like what he did today.. I screamed at the screen  cuz I desperately want him to do well, almost more than he wants to maybe)

Aren't you skipping over the fact that Costa had a period where his off the ball movement in the box was non existent ? Kinda difficult to create chances for your striker when he's forgotten what a near post run is.

It got so bad that Mourinho got into an argument at a game at half time, think it was against Tel Aviv and then benched him the next couple of games.

Seems to me like you're using double standards when it comes to Costa and Hazard's poor form this season. Both have to take some responsibility for their poor form but both have also suffered from the poor team performances.

( and let's face it Mourinho also clearly had a negative affect on the both of them and the rest of the team this season.)

You can't let one player off the hook by blaming it all on the team but then hold the other player 100 % responsible and question his commitment.

Costa reinvigorated himself under Hiddink. Hazard hasn't really had the chance to reinvigorate himself, under Hiddink, since he still hasn't played much due to his injuries.

So how about you give him some time to reinvigorate himself before you write off our most talented player we have at this club.

"He looks absolutely useless at everything he attempts"

:carlo: Hazard's been poor this season but "absolutely useless at everything he attempts" ? What a ridiculous exaggeration.

Willian in the best form of his Chelsea career has created 49 chances this season (and that's with taking the majority of our  freekicks) while Hazard in the worst form of his Chelsea career has created  46 chances with 2 less games played then Willian

but sure absolutely useless at everything he attempts...

That's your opinion.

I stick by mine. Hazard has been useless and only apologists will try and excuse the fact he's been a failure. If Hazard turns it around suddenly, then fair play to him. Doesn't excuse his performances, or lack of. I find it funny when you use statistics to make a point, but neglect the most important one. Goals. Willian, 8. Hazard, 0.

Edit: You're entitled to have your opinion, and I can respect the opinions of other people. But there is no excusing the whole squad for this season. Big players have to stand out and be counted. Hazard has been arguably worse than Matic. That says something.

Everyone is indeed entitled to have an opinion on the matter but i never said you couldn't have one now did i ? I just simply gave mine.

Well it's not that funny cause the point i made was about your claim that Hazard was "absolutely useless at everything he attempts".

I brought up the stat because, atleast for me, it proves that your claim is extremely exaggerated.

How can a player that's second in most chances created (for our team) and only created 3 chances less then Willian (player in his best form and first in most chances created) be "absolutely useless at everything he attempts" ?

That was my point. I'm not saying Hazard's been better or just as good as Willian this season or that he hasn't been poor.

You say there's no excusing the whole squad but if you blame the whole squad then why are you only singling out Hazard ? Why is he the only player you're accusing of lack of commitment ?

I'm sorry but it's clear to me that you're using double standards when it comes to assigning blame to players. Costa gets a free pass from you because he's isolated and because the midfield is poor but Hazard you accuse of lack of commitment

and when i use the same "excuses" you use, to take away the blame from Costa, you say me and anyone else that does is just an apologist. Kinda hypocritical wouldn't you say ?

Although i'm guessing that's probably why you completely ingored the part i wrote about Costa.

@Belgiannut, just look at the turnaround by everyone on Costa, half the forum was ready to sell him, now he's a god again after 3-4 good games.

Football fans are a ridiculous bunch, same will happen when Hazard scores a few, wouldn't waste too much breath on it

Yeah i know. It's just the "lack of commitment", " heart isn't at Chelsea" crap that annoys me.

You're right though should just try ignoring them.

I expect Watford to be his first start in a while. Not sure what type of performance we'll get from him

Me neither, but if it's a bad one, don't complain about it in here. He's obviously being given a free ride by a lot of the people on here and they won't stand for criticism :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Yes fickle fans, all teams got them.

What's amazing is that Mourinho used to be applauded for this, his man management skills. But after two stints where the same thing happened, real Madrid and now Chelsea then the man has clearly lost it.

It is good that the club sacked him and got  hiddink in. We just need to play Fútbol and have less drama in our lives. And because of this hopefully hazard will be able to enjoy his Fútbol once more.

For me the most important part was when he had the confidence to take the ball and step up to take the penalty. You could hear the Chelsea fans celebrating just that fact. He made the penalty, he scored it his own way, set up other goals and chances, was honestly happy after Oscar scored his hattrick and... and... he kissed the Chelsea badge  Fantastic afternoon.
