Hkibou 622
CRonaldo has a valid point. If there's one part Eden can improve his game on a bit, it's his finishing. He'd be unplayable.CRonaldo has a valid point. If there's one part Eden can improve his game on a bit, it's his finishing. He'd be unplayable.Hazard is a good finisher. He scored 20 goals last season for Lille, that's something. Plus, in Lille tactics attacking players were switching position all the time, so he played a lot as a striker during games, even if he started'em as a winger or playmaker. He can handle well being alone up front, even if his lack of aerial skills is an issue in that position. As for the shooting, indeed, it's not a "natural" skill of his. But the nice thing with Hazard is when he decides to improve sthg in his game, he learns so fast. 2010/11 season he was quite poor at long shots, the year later he decided to work on that, especially the "tomahawk" shot like ronaldo, which is the most difficult to master. And yet he's still far from Ronaldo or Hulk, his improvements on that matter were stunning, as if we could see every week he had progressed a bit more. And don't forget he's only 21... Still a lot of time to get better ! nadavTKL
warnie_666 1,081
Dont think we will ever sell this guy. We are not a selling club. We give our top players good contracts and they are long term ones. The last player we sold and got good money on was Robben and that was because he was too injury prone.Unless Eden few years from now starts acting like a Diva and acts like Ronaldo or Rooney did at Man Utd, there is no chance we are selling him. To think he is only 21 and will only improve, he could go on to compete with Messi and Ronaldo for that Ballon D'or in couple of years Term-X

warnie_666 1,081
At this point in time, his value already is well above 50 million. 32m is a fucking bargain for this man. He is cocky alright. And I like that about him. Opposition fans talked shit about him cus of the suspense he created on which club he was about to join. They said we shall see if he can back that cockiness on pitch. Well they saw it..Reminds me of Mourinho. Everyone thought who is this cocky bastard that calls himself Special One. The rest his history. Blue-in-me-Veins 4,067
hazard is just special, how he transformed into the EPL, would think he was a 10 year veteran. he's got the 50mill man happy, thinks of teamates before himself, drifts all over the pitch, and is right footed. i added that last biit because we needed that change think adds nice balance to team. love him already because things happen when he is on the ball, he appears to be that messi--when everyone is tired out of ideas he can just pass by 4/5 players win a pen or score a goal....and those players are priceless.soo glad we won UCL, just the mere thought of him in a sky blue or as a red devil.......wow Hutcho and Jose M
francozola 2,040
He's also so sensible as a player. In the last 5-10 minutes especially against Newcastle he dropped deep but was just playing simple passes to the other players. Not going for anything spectacular, just closing the game out with smart possession. Shows his composure and he's not just some flashy player who wants to "prove" his abilities everytime. That back heel for Torres was glorious. Anyone can do a simple backheel, but he actually held on to the ball (in such a tight space) for a second and then returned it to Torres, and knew exactly where to place it for him. We've got a gem! TrippingStep 336
It's Arsenal who must be fuming to have bought Gervinho. They bought a missile withouth the launcher and the tracking device that was Hazard Like Pardew said, with his ability to move with the ball easily on his feet, you can time your run off him and Gervinho was one that capitalized a lot on this. He has a good defensive work rate and proved that he is not a prima donna type of player who thinks he doesn't have to defend just because of his attacking ability. francozola
