Any other player wouldnt say anything but as weve seen with Eden, Lukaku, Courtous, de Bruyne it must be a Belgian thing 😂 I wont miss these sort of interviews.or the ones he does when with the NT when he goes tbf.

He’s just not that influential or at least not consistently enough. just fuck off already. Let the club plan and give the much sought-after free role to someone who wants to improve and become the player some here think hazard is. 1905didierblue

Also, the free role is given to someone who knows exactly what they're doing on the pitch, and there is no one else in the squad that does that. If we did have someone, then you wouldn't see the team constantly passing the ball to Hazard and expecting him to conjure up something. If you think we should buy someone who can do that, the club could have gone ahead and just done that a long time ago. What does that have to do with having Hazard in the squad? Mate, if willian had that performance, he would be crucified. Hazard was anonymous. Uncharacteristically lost the ball a number of times. Hardly tracked back or closed down. I don't think we should give him accolades for the penalty, it was the bare minimum he could do for us. Let's just hope it was due to the exhaustion of a long long season. And now he has 20.days to fill up on his energy resources.

He hasn’t signed a new deal and wants out... what’s a club to do? Move on and move on already... I wasn’t as much of a fan as others around here, now I’m kinda really sick of him. Hate his demeanor, on and off the pitch. answering your second point, like many of his fans like to say, the club has been incapable of adding quality around hazard, which essentially proves, to me at least, that having such a player may be detrimental to the squad. as in, the squad would benefit more from 2 additional good players instead of hazard. The ban is unfortunate obviously, but hope it can be lifted at least for this window.

The ban is unfortunate obviously, but hope it can be lifted at least for this window. I've said a number of times that I think there will be an initial struggle losing Hazard, but I do think in the longer term outlook the club can recover and be potentially better off. At the moment we are so reliant on Hazard it's embarrassing and having such a reliance on one top player is not healthy. Sarri's Napoli was a team without any real stars (Hamsik and Higuain were the biggest and I don't think neither were considered near an elite level), and the team worked as one. I think Sarri has struggled this season having to adopt his tactics which require the team to operate together as a well oiled machine to players such as Hazard and Willian who are more 'individuals'. Hazard is given a free reign in the team and not expected to track back much which doesn't help with the defensive phase of the team as a unit, resulting in some of the bigger matches him being shoehorned centrally so we can ensure we're more solid defensively. The pace of play and "pass and move" cycles that Napoli showed under Sarri haven't developed here currently. I do think in recent weeks our playing out the back has shown signs of improvement, and that has also coincided with an upturn in Jorginho's form and the continued development of RLC who seems to be a willing runner in the midfield alongside Kante. However the whole thing dies further up the field. It's hard to knock Hazard, when he has produced so many moments of magic and is such a huge source of goals and assists for us but there is no doubt that him and Willian at times slow down the play or will hold on to the ball longer than I think Sarri would prefer. The biggest problem next season with the ban in my opinion is not replacing Hazard on the wing, but not being able to buy a top striker to lead the line.
Pizy 18,903
If I was confident the club would reinvest the Hazard money in a player capable of becoming world class I'd actually be pretty excited to see what the post-Hazard era is like. But knowing our club they'll be thinking Pulisic is the Hazard replacement and that Willian & Pedro are enough.  Laylabelle, Atomiswave and kellzfresh

Pulisic will replace Eden, Willian/Pedro for the right side, and Sarri will use Barkley as an emergency LW backup like he did a couple of times this season. Popular Post! BlueLyon 9,359 Posted May 10, 2019 Popular Post! Share Posted May 10, 2019 The appreciation, or the lack of it for Hazard on this thread just because fans are butthurt that he might leave (when he has all the right because the club did nothing to get back on top) is laughable. One might think this is Real Madrid fans page with their zero respect for the players. If you want to be pissed, be pissed at our board. Hazard is the best player in the PL for years now and we are on decline for years now. He did amazing stuff for this club, something every Chelsea fan should deeply appreciate and respect. Bosnian Blue, Atomiswave, Hamilton and 10 others
Laylabelle 9,534
That's it. Players move on. Unless it's about the money find it hard to hold a grudge against them. Just hope that he can end on a high rather then a wimper. And that it goes better for him at Real then has Courtois. DYC.
