From a capitalist point of view organising a super league themselves is perfectly reasonable. Without uefa as black hole middle man, the clubs can generate a lot more revenue. also CL as a product has long sucked ass.

I cant wait to see what UEFA and FA do now. Fair play to Bayern, Dortmund, PSG, etc who have opposed this and aren’t joining. Who’d have thought PSG would of said no to that sort of money especially after the fuss theyve had with FFP in the past, this just shows, even they’ve got a soul by the looks of it.

Who cares about top4 when we have our own league with best European clubs? 🤣

Basically just PSG and Bayern missing. And 15th and 16th spot in the league should be won after qualification in my opinion so teams like Dortmund, Lyon, Ajax, Napoli, Porto and all others can qualify.

Cutting ties with corrupted UEFA, Fifa who are average entrepreneurs in terms of marketing the most popular sport anyway has nothing to do with having no soul. PSG will join at a later point but they did not want to ruin their last shot at CL.

I do not like the makeup of this with perez as chair etc but in principle this move makes sense.

The clubs participating in Super league will draw ahead of the rest. Enlgish clubs keep their dominance bc they have 6 clubs in there whilst the others have max3 so far. With the extra revenue our club will finally arrive in the group of historic super clubs for good. WE will easily be able to afford a new shiny stadium.

Also if Fifa really exclude players from world cup this could eventually mean the end of international football and a dream come true.

Embarrassing. Clubs feeling bullied into this is all well and good but cmon this is us and Man City, two absolutely huge organisations.  

Anyone celebrating our inclusion in this is an absolute fuckwit as well by the way, honestly. There are numerous clubs across each and every country which will suffer by this. It may seem like an exciting proposition, a European super league but the only thing super about it is how super fucking moronic every club who’s signed up to it now look especially after numerous fan groups have severely opposed it. As have UEFA and the PL and various other footballing associations.

I have read Leipzig have been asked and Bayern rejected it but Hasan Salihamidzic is trying to convince them. I really hope they dont. And PSG. It would send a message. The fact us and City felt the need to fear being left behind is embarrassing too. Every club who’s signed up to that has sold out for a pay day. 

People are also forgetting what are players and managers going to think? Its not going to be as easy as everyone in those 12 squads falls in line also or agrees with the idea.

Ohhhhh, so this would just be a replacement for the CL every season. Except the “founding members” won’t have to qualify and get guaranteed Super League entry every year. This whole time everyone was making it sound like this would replace the Premier League. But no, this is just a huge middle finger to UEFA instead.

Well there will be no PL as they’ve just said all clubs who play in it wont be allowed to play PL so basically its to replace the PL and CL.
