Arsenal going through is more of a positive for Chelsea. Firstly they'll have extra competition to play in, meaning they'll have to divide their focus from the league plus let's face it with a display like tonight Arsenal won't make it too far either. And secondly Premier League's rating won't drop, meaning there'll be 4 UCL spots for English top division.

On the other hand they just lost their main striker for 3 months and now have £25 million to replace him.

go watch Ludogorets - Steaua, it will be a penalty shootout. the home goalkeeper was sent off and they dont have any more subs, so a centre back will be in goal!

edit: wow, he saved 2 and they won!

Hahahaha The outfield player in goal saved the 2 penalties!

Now, I've seen it all. Oh, football...

Yes but wasn't he above the line before the player kicking that ball.

Isn't that supposed to be taken back?

Well, the Steaua goalkeeper did exactly the same in most of the shots and the referee didn't care so it would have been extremely harsh to single out the game winning penalty save.

All very true, but Arsenal, atleast for me, never came across as intelligent in the transfer market. Last time they had tons of cash they bought Özil (tons of potential but doing a Torres at the moment) and let Fabregas sign for us.

Liverpool release a trailer for their film about their CL win in Turkey

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2749403/Liverpool-release-trailer-Champions-League-film-One-Night-Istanbul.html

This will rekindle a lot of memories, especially for the men, women and children that were mugged by other liverpool fans for their tickets
