Even when Chels score you still feel eeeeeek waiting for whoever their playing to get one back

Exactly, i was just saying that to Sheva earlier, it's a huge problem we have, we sit back and play even worse, the United game was great because we kept going at it, untill after the 3rd goal we were getting nervous. And conceded 3 goals.

Everytime we score i'm still nervous because sometimes you feel now it's time to get really bad.

Even 2-0 up against B'ham didnt feel that confident.Espically after the penatly they just completly seemed to fall apart.

Yeah defintly they seem to get to relaxed or loose complete concentraion.Espically this season in the last 10 minutes or so.

as i can see watching that match... it was 10 vs 10 not 10 vs 11.... kalou was playing the whole 90 minutes  when will Matteo learn... at least AVB knows not to play him... hope he doesnt play against Napoli or we are screwed for sure

i didnt have that horrible gut feeling today, i think we looked solid all game, and on an even postive note, everton beat spuds, 4 points of 3rd drag them into a fight for 3rd and 4th, draw will do nicely monday !!!

Dont see why some people are criticizing Drogba anyway, he may of not played to the best of his abilities but he scored didn't he? I ain't no expert but he is a striker and I believe that is what he is on the pitch to do... score.

Unfortunately the world of football isn't as black and white as that.

I don't mind Stoke but fuck me were they dirty today. I'll have to see it again but Fuller's stamp was disgusting. Shawcross complaining about us time wasting at the end, fuck off. Stoke were doing it the whole game.

Looks like Di Matteo has gone back to the formation Ancelotti used. Credit to him for changing it as it was clear AVB's system was not working, he was bold in bringing on Mata in the first half also which in the end won us the game. I don't know where we'd be without Mata this season. All that matters is the three points at this point in the season, we must finish 4th especially as we will be bringing in a new manager, it will be harder to attract a manager if we're not in the Champions League.

Cahill today was quality, he's played well since he's joined us, I hope Di Matteo continues to play him alongside Terry as that's our best CB pairing. Unfortunately, there are still problems with how we set up, we've gone back to Ancelotti's formation but what cost Ancelotti in his second season was the lack of width we had especially on the right hand side. Ramires is playing on the right, the same role Anelka played, we have no winger or proper width. Even on the left today, Kalou was always coming inside. We looked most dangerous today, in the first half when Kalou and Ramires were in wide positions, every time they came inside we lacked options. We need width. I miss the days when we had Robben and Duff on the wings, proper wingers. Today, we also failed to get the ball on the floor and keep possession, we forced too many balls which ultimately helped Stoke.

Still a much improved performance and a much needed win.

Correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure United needed 2 controversial pens to beat Stoke at Old Trafford and that was on a wide Old Trafford pitch.

Narrow pitches like The Bridge suit Stoke down to the ground.

I meant it in a general sense, when teams go 10 men against united then you know what's going to happen.

Not exactly a top notch performance, but we did the business and got a bit of rest for some of our key players. Some of the oft-maligned players actually did pretty well (Mikel and Lamps). Kalou was actually decent, ish. Two final thoughts: Stoke are one of the worst teams to watch, and ShawX is a walking yellow card.
