Is there any point to this question now. Surely Robbie at the very least DESERVES A CHANCE next season.

If he wins us the Champions League then he must be nailed on. I think there would be a Mourinho style riot if they let him go after that!

He will be labeled as a nearly men like Avram.

Surely some people will not want that?

But to be honest, I feel he deserves at least a full season. Give him a one year contract instead of a 10. Let's see how he does half way through the season, where all the famous managers tend to get chop!

This team is far less talented than that side. RDM inherited the team when they were down and out. Our season was an utter disaster and failure. Imagine what Robbie could do if he got the chance to mould and shape the team as he sees fit in the transfer window.

Guardiola isn't good coach, everybody can manage Barca with players like Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Alexis, Fabregas, etc, in my opinion RDM is best solution, it seems that he knows what to do with this players and we must keep him.

I really loved to having RDM to become our permanent manager even we didn't win in the UCL final.

But honestly, the only coach that i can accept if roman still want to change the manager is Mourinho or Hiddink.

This news about Guardiola leaving irritates me cuz of the fact that Roman sometimes doesn't see clearly, or is ill advised.

I can't see Guardiola making it at Chelsea... At Barca it was a Catalan population where they all understood each other (Catalan blood, etc...)

Plus the Barca players are all like little kids, as Ibrahimovic admitted - that's why he never fit at that club.

Guardiola is not for us.

Rikjaard couldn't! He didn't have them playing the way they have right now, that's all down to Guardiola introducing that style back into Barcelona. Cryuff started it, but after he left Barca next encapsulated that spirit again, Guardiola changed everything. From the academy system, to the diets of the players. He knows everything about the club, inside out. Made the right transfers, brought in the right players from the academy, worked out a different training method etc.
