They would need to clear the surrounding areas as well. If police say the surrounding areas are dangerous they will call it off.

Yes the system is really good, so the would clear that easily if it doesn't snow throughout the night. But there are many more factors to take into consideration.

Forecast is for the snow to stop early hours of Sunday morning so they should have plenty of time to clear the roads, main thing is public transport I guess. It's not as bad as the last time the game was called off but pretty heavy now and still coming down.

Personally I think that is very little snow, but I guess most Icelanders would think that. Either way I don't want it to be postponed, I think this is exactly the kind of game that could change our dreadful form to the better.
